Nick Aldis Reinstated as SmackDown GM

Nick Aldis is once again the Smackdown GM.

After his loss to Gunther at SummerSlam, Triple H met with Aldis backstage.

“That is my letter of resignation,” said Aldis to Triple H.

“It has been a honor and a privilege to serve you as a GM. I thank you for the opportunity,” said Aldis.

“I appreciate this. I appreciate that you are a man of your word. I appreciate that you are a man. Gunther crossed a line. You crossed a line. We settled it though as we do in WWE. You got in the ring and fought for what you believe in. It doesn’t matter the outcome. It matters that you fought,” said HHH.

HHH then tore up the letter.

“I believe in what you did You are reinstated as the General Manager of Smackdown,” said Triple H shaking Aldis’ hand. “Lay off Gunther, let’s call things down the middle and let’s get back to work.”
