We start this week with Rhino getting blindsided right out of the gate. Steve Maclin just clobbers him from behind as he makes his way to the ring. Maclin smashes Rhino’s head off the steel steps before rolling him back into the ring.
If you know your wrestling, you know Adam Copeland and Rhino were buddies in WWE.
In the ring, Rhino fights back with a big shoulder tackle in a corner. Rhino gets ready to gore Maclin. Maclin sprays pepper spray in Rhino’s eyes. It seems the match hasn’t started yet. The official confers with Rhino and he gives him the greenlight to start that match.
Rhino versus Steve Maclin
Maclin slaps Rhino in the face as he stumbles around blind. Rhino punches Maclin clotheslining him down. Maclin shoves the official into Rhino, punches him in the “lower abdomen”. The official disqualifies Maclin. Maclin lays in punch after punch after bell.
Maclin retrieves a steel chair from under the ring. He punches the official in the face.
“This guy needs to the suspended!” yells Mauro Ranallo.
Maclin hits Rhino in the gut with the chair and then gives him a solo Conchairto…to piss Copeland off.
Medical personal attends to a stricken Rhino. Maclin grabs a “doctor” throwing him into the steel ring steps.
As he is being led away by guys in black hats and shirts, Maclin shouts: “I hope you are watching, Adam! You think a jail is going to hold me? I will see you October 3rd, Adam!”.
Winner: Rhino via disqualification.
Rohan Raja (with Aurora Teves) versus Capitan Suicida
Suicida super kicks Raja in the face. Teves grabs Suicida’s ankle from outside the ring. Double knees to the back and a modified jumping flatliner later, Raja is your winner. It doesn’t end there though. Raja rips off Suicida’s mask. The official’s have a towel ready Suicida to hide his face.
Raja has a message for Andrade while holding Suicida’s mask: “This is just like you. I am going to beat you because I am the man here and this is my company and territory. You are nothing.”
Winner: Rohan Raja
The dude who has been following around Psycho Mike chats with us. It is Crazy Steve. He has been trying to help him. Maybe Mike isn’t listening. We see Mike appearing and disappearing in a white hallway with this stranger trying to get through to him.
“Maybe I have been speaking the wrong language,” he says holding a kendo stick and ripping his mask off.
“No more whispering!” he shouts over and over.
Mike snaps and yells…”I will be what you want me to be!”.
Bryce Hansen versus London Lighting
The match doesn’t last long as Dan Maff runs down to the ring destroying both men. Hansen is the victim of a Burning Hammer. Psycho Mike arrives with a kendo stick! Crazy Steve is directing traffic. Mike sends Maff running. Steve attacks Mike from behind with the kendo stick. He puts Mike in some kind of Mandible Claw and beats on his some more with the kendo stick. Steve spits on Mike as he leaves him laying.
Winner: Match thrown out.
Backstage, Interim MLP Canadian Champion Stu Grayson is outside MLP Canadian Champion Josh Alexander’s locker room. Evil Uno tries to calm Stu down. Grayson wants to know why Don Callis is involved now. Someone opens the door telling Grayson that Alexander’s only message is that Alexander is done talking. They will finish things in the ring.
Priscilla Kelly versus Gisele Shaw (c) – MLP Women’s Canadian Champion
Well, this match is kind of a forgone conclusion with Shaw signing with NWA this week.
Shaw catches Kelly’s kick. Shaw gives her Shock and Awe for a two count. Shaw awkwardly missed a Shining Wizard. Kelly with a forearm to the back of the head and a sliding punch to the head. Kelly pins Shaw.
She will now defend the title at Northern Rising against Nikki Storm.
Winner: …and new MLP Women’s Canadian Champion, Priscilla Kelly.
