Mercedes Mone has once again fuelled speculation that Bayley could eventually join her in AEW.
The former AEW TBS Champion has continued to tease a potential match with her longtime rival, despite no official indication that Bayley is leaving WWE. Earlier this week, Mone shared a match graphic on social media promoting a showdown with the four-time WWE Women’s Champion at AEW WrestleDream in October 2026. She followed that up by posting an hourglass GIF on X shortly after Bayley appeared on Raw during a segment involving Lyra Valkyria.
The timing of the post has reignited speculation about the future of the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, although neither WWE nor AEW has commented on the rumours.
She is currently scheduled to face Lyra Valkyria at this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, but discussion about her long-term future has continued following Mone’s social media activity.
Bayley’s Current WWE Deal Could End In The Near Future
Reports previously indicated that the 14-year WWE veteran signed a multi-year WWE contract in late 2023, prompting speculation that her deal could expire around the time of WrestleDream. However, there has been no confirmation of when her contract ends.
For now, there is no indication that Bayley is WWE-bound for AEW, with the speculation being driven largely by Mone’s posts rather than any confirmed reports.
