Mercedes Mone has fuelled speculation about a potential future match with Bayley after sharing a fan-made WrestleDream 2026 poster on social media. The graphic, posted to Mone’s Instagram Stories, promoted a match between Mone and Bayley, who was identified by her former ring name, Davina Rose, and also depicted Mone as AEW Women’s World Champion, despite her not yet holding the title. While the dream match is currently not possible due to Bayley’s WWE contract, which is reportedly set to expire at the end of 2026, the pair remain close friends after their time together in WWE. Bayley has previously expressed interest in facing Mone again, but has given no indication that she plans to leave WWE.
Jim Ross has shared a positive health update, revealing that he is set to be discharged from the hospital after spending more than 30 days receiving treatment. Ross, who has been hospitalised since May 29 for undisclosed reasons, thanked fans for their support and encouraged people to “count your blessings daily.” The WWE Hall of Famer has faced several health challenges over the past year, including colon cancer surgery, neurological evaluations and a fall that caused him to miss AEW Double or Nothing. Ross also recently commented on his AEW contract, which expires in August, saying he is content to let the situation “play out.”
Mick Foley has clarified that he has no issue with WWE continuing to air his classic matches, even though he no longer has a relationship with the company. Speaking on Going Ringside, the WWE Hall of Famer said WWE has every right to showcase his past work and that he wants younger fans to discover his career. Foley added that he remains proud of almost everything he accomplished in WWE, joking that the only exception was some of his work as Dude Love.
