One of WWE’s biggest stars is reportedly not involved in the company’s ongoing contract restructuring discussions despite recent speculation surrounding schedule changes.
Roman Reigns became the subject of online rumours after he was quietly removed from several advertised June appearances following WrestleMania 42, leading some fans to question whether a contract issue could be behind the changes.
According to Dave Meltzer, however, Reigns has not been asked to renegotiate his deal. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that WWE’s top-level names are not among the talents currently being targeted for revised agreements.
“Roman Reigns was not asked to renegotiate his WWE contract. None of the guys at that level, they’re not being asked. It’s the guys who, I’d say, again, without mentioning any names, they’d be guys who were at a higher level before than they are now. I think that’s the best way to put it.”
Reports Have Surfaced About TKO Pushing Several Stars To Restructure Their WWE Deals
Reports in recent weeks have suggested TKO Group Holdings has been pushing several WWE talents toward restructuring their contracts, with some performers reportedly being asked to accept major pay reductions. The reasoning is believed to centre around WWE’s lighter touring schedule compared to previous years, alongside broader financial adjustments following the Endeavor merger.
While uncertainty remains over how many talents could ultimately be affected, Reigns appears to be firmly outside those discussions as he continues preparing for his World Heavyweight Championship defence against Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash.
