LA Knight has named the rival who had the most impact on his WWE career.
Since joining WWE in 2021, LA Knight has had many high-profile feuds. In recent years, this has included The Bloodline, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles. However, one man he keeps coming back to is Logan Paul. The pair first crossed paths at Money In The Bank in 2023 and have been rivals ever since.
Speaking to Sporf’s James Sweetnam, Knight said that Paul had become his greatest opponent after their first match put them on the same trajectory.
“That’s a tough one, I don’t know. In a weird way, maybe you could say Solo Sikoa just because I feel like I’ve been tied to him for so long and now somehow we’re on the same page. But I think that one of the ones that had the most impact that people were looking for for a long time was Logan Paul because it was like, I kind of had that rub up with him three years ago at, what was it, going into Money in the Bank, and I said the whole thing about the map and this, that, whatever.
“That kind of put us on the same trajectory in a certain way, even though we both went our own separate ways for the next nine, ten months. But everywhere I went, people were like, ‘You need to go after Logan Paul and get that US title, blah, blah, blah,’ and eventually, that’s where we got to.”
LA Knight Set To Challenge Roman Reigns For World Heavyweight Championship
On the September 14th edition of Raw in Mexico City, Roman Reigns successfully defended the World Heavyweight Title against Penta. After the show went off the air, LA Knight attacked the OTC and took the title belt. Reigns later challenged Knight to a title match at Money in the Bank, and Adam Pearce made it official the next day.
