Janel Grant has made new claims regarding WWE’s 2022 board investigation into Vince McMahon, alleging that explicit material depicting her was shared without her consent.
In a post shared on Instagram, Janel Grant said she recently learned that graphic evidence, including photographs and descriptions showing her in what she described as “some vulnerable and/or compromising way,” was provided to the WWE Board’s special committee during its investigation into Vince McMahon.
Grant wrote that the material was viewed by multiple people before being summarised and presented to members of WWE’s board.
“This evidence was viewed by others and distilled into graphic summaries. This evidence was then read out to then current Board members including some in positions of upper management, and future board members between fall/winter 2022 into 2023.”
Janel Grant Says She Does Not Know How Many Images Were Shared Within WWE
Janel Grant added that she does not know how many images were shared or exactly how many people viewed them. She said she only became aware of the situation after reviewing public documents.
According to Grant, she chose to speak publicly about the matter because she does not want anyone else to experience something similar.
“I don’t want anything remotely like this to happen to anyone else.”
Grant’s lawsuit against former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, which includes allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking that McMahon has denied, is currently heading to arbitration. McMahon has consistently denied the allegations made against him.
