A new docuseries centred on the late Hulk Hogan has made an immediate impact on Netflix following its release.
‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’ ranked fifth globally during its first week on the platform, according to Netflix’s Tudum charts, finishing just behind the latest episode of WWE Raw.
The four-part series recorded three million views worldwide, alongside 12.3 million hours watched based on its total runtime of four hours and six minutes. Co-produced by WWE, the show also broke into the top ten in ten countries and placed fifth in the United States.
For comparison, the Vince McMahon docuseries reached fourth place globally within its first four days on the service in September 2024, drawing 4.9 million views and 28.2 million hours watched during that period.
Hulk Hogan Netflix Docuseries Continued Production Despite His Death Before Completion
Development on the project continued despite Hulk Hogan’s passing in June last year, with Netflix confirming in December that the series would move forward. Its title and release date were officially revealed just weeks before launch.
