A former WWE talent has officially been cleared to return to action following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Luke Menzies, best known for his time in WWE as Ridge Holland, revealed on social media that he has been medically cleared for full in-ring competition.
Menzies shared a note from his doctor confirming he has made a strong recovery following a C5-7 cervical disc replacement surgery in November 2025. The letter stated he has returned to his baseline level of physical capacity, with no complications reported in follow-up imaging.
“Given his recovery, he is medically cleared to return to professional wrestling activities as well as contact sports.”
The note read, adding that he can resume full contact with no restrictions.
The 37-year-old had been sidelined after suffering a Lisfranc injury during a match against Moose at a TNA television taping in September. While recovering from that injury, Menzies also underwent neck surgery.
Luke Menzies WWE Release Led To Social Media Outburst
Luke Menzies’ time in WWE came to an end shortly after the injury, with the company opting not to renew his contract. Menzies later said he felt “hung out to dry” by the decision before being released ahead of its expiration.
With medical clearance now confirmed, Menzies is free to return to the ring as he prepares for the next chapter of his career.
