A former WWE star who was released earlier this year has been announced for Chris Jericho‘s upcoming Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea cruise.
KAIRI, previously known as Kairi Sane in WWE, has been confirmed for the seventh edition of Chris Jericho’s wrestling-themed cruise. Jericho announced the news on Instagram, welcoming the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion aboard and calling her the “Sane Sailor.” KAIRI will participate in meet-and-greets, photo opportunities and other activities throughout the voyage.

KAIRI’s appearance comes several months after her departure from WWE, having been released on April 24 as part of the company’s post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts. At the time, reports suggested that her release followed her expressing a desire to return to Japan.
The former WWE star remains a free agent, although AEW has reportedly discussed potentially signing her. No agreement between the two parties has been confirmed. Meanwhile, Chris Jericho’s Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea already has a six-man tag team match advertised as its main event, with Jericho joining forces with Matt and Jeff Hardy to face Blake Christian, Jay Lethal and Nick Wayne.
An episode of AEW Collision is also scheduled to air from the cruise.
