Nikki Bella may still be sidelined with the ankle injury that forced her out of WrestleMania 42, but she already knows who she wants helping her prepare for her WWE return.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Brie Bella revealed that her husband, Bryan Danielson, has been coaching and training her for matches since her return to WWE competition. According to Brie, Danielson has taken a demanding approach, providing detailed feedback and pushing her to improve every week.
“It’s fun because I feel like people are recognizing all of the training I’m doing,” Brie said. “Bryan is my coach. He’s hard on me, which I need. I love it.”
After hearing her sister praise Danielson’s coaching, Nikki Bella quickly made it clear she wants the former world champion in her corner as well once she is medically cleared to compete again.
“I can’t wait to have Bryan as a coach on this comeback,” Nikki said.
Bryan Danielson Has Been Training Brie & Nikki Bella For A Number Of Months
Bryan Danielson has reportedly been helping train both Bella sisters for several months, including during the period leading up to Brie Bella’s return at the 2026 Royal Rumble.
Nikki Bella has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury during a tag team match alongside Brie against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. The injury ultimately ruled her out of WrestleMania 42.
In recent weeks, Nikki has shared positive updates on her recovery, revealing that she has entered the strength-building phase of rehabilitation and was recently able to squat again for the first time since the injury. She is also scheduled for additional X-rays in mid-June, which could provide a clearer timetable for her eventual in-ring return.
