ESPN Unlimited is set to increase its subscription prices from September 17, affecting WWE fans who use the service to watch premium live events. The monthly price will rise from $29.99 to $31.99, while the annual plan will increase from $299.99 to $319.99, marking the service’s first price rise since launching. ESPN Select will also become more expensive, increasing from $12.99 to $13.99 per month, but that tier does not carry WWE PLEs. As a result, WWE viewers will need to continue subscribing to Unlimited, with the increase costing monthly subscribers an additional $24 per year or annual subscribers an extra $20.
Ilja Dragunov has not signed with AEW following his departure from WWE, although there is reportedly some belief within the company that he could eventually join the promotion. According to Fightful Select, Dragunov’s WWE exit surprised several people backstage in AEW after negotiations over a new contract failed to produce an agreement. There is also reportedly some scepticism over whether AEW will sign him because of the size of its existing roster.
Dragunov is currently a free agent and reportedly has no non-compete clause, meaning he could appear elsewhere immediately. That has fuelled speculation about a potential surprise appearance at AEW All In in London, although there is currently no confirmation that he has agreed a deal with the company.
Lola Vice is reportedly preparing to move to WWE’s main roster, with SmackDown expected to be her destination. According to TRNBCKL, WWE has already filmed vignettes for Vice’s debut, while False Finish reports that they are expected to begin airing in the coming weeks. Vice last competed on the August 4 episode of NXT, facing Kendal Grey in an NXT Underground match for the NXT Women’s Championship. She also recently finished her run as AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion alongside Mr Iguana. Vice joined WWE in 2022 following a 4-1 MMA career in Bellator and captured the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver 2026 before eventually losing the title to Grey at the Great American Bash.
