Kane, Glenn Jacobs, could become a U.S. senator in the near future. Jacobs is looking to replace Marsha Blackburn who is moving on to become Governor of Tennessee in the new year. Jacobs is extremely close to Blackburn and was her campaign treasurer during the 2026 mid-term elections. Blackburn has the option of naming her successor in Tennessee.
Speaking to the Fox News Rundown podcast, Jacobs said about the position: “Obviously it’s a huge honour for me, so I would consider it very seriously.”
“Based on [what happened], it’s even more likely for Glenn,” one of Blackburn advisors told The Washington Sun. They also said: “He can talk to both the kind of ‘establishment’ type people but then also the regular voters too. He kind of has that appeal.”
“Every time I saw Marsha, Glenn wasn’t very far behind,” said Kim Perry, the president of Perry Strategies, a Tennessee-based political consulting firm, to The Washington Sun. “Here in Shelby County and the Memphis metro area, where we live, we love our wrestling here, so people know him”
Jacobs entered politics in 2018 when he was elected Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He has served two terms.
On The Nikki & Brie Show, Brie Bella detailed how one of her children was targeted online and why she doesn’t post photos of her children online any longer. She recently removed family Halloween photos because of a string of odd and disturbing comments from a user who had no followers and very little activity.
“It probably had 20 comments and images making fun of Buddy going after him so I deleted the post and then that led me to all this bulls–t, you’re not going to see my kids anymore. I’m not going to post them anymore. What it showed me, and I really hope parents who if you’re listening and you allow your child to have social media, don’t feel bad about it. A lot of people do. I think you should take comments off.” she said believing the account targeting her was a “sock puppet account” or a bot.
Atticus Cogar is the new GCW World Champion. He defeated Joseph Sawyer (Joe Gacy) at GCW The Crossroads last night.
On AAA last night, GM Rey Mysterio inducted Marisela Peña, into the AAA Hall of Fame. Dorian Roldán, her son, announced that Mysterio has been suspended for an unsafe working environment in which wrestlers have been injured, has been abusing his power and…was having an affair with his mother. It is not clear what, if any, this angle could have on Team Mexico versus Team USA at Survivor Series.
