Eric Young is reportedly set to return to WWE in a player-coach role on NXT following his release from TNA Wrestling. After TNA confirmed Young’s departure, Fightful Select reported that WWE sources anticipated his return due to his longstanding relationship with Triple H. Bryan Alvarez has since added that Young is expected to serve as a player-coach in NXT, combining an in-ring role with mentoring talent. The 46-year-old is a former multi-time TNA World Champion who previously spent time with WWE from 2016 to 2020 and briefly re-signed with the company in 2022 before returning to Impact Wrestling in 2023.

Mick Foley has confirmed that his WWE Legends merchandise deal has ended, and he thanked WWE’s merchandising and marketing teams for their support throughout the partnership. In a Facebook video, the WWE Hall of Famer said he remained proud of his legacy in WWE and revealed he had recently received his largest quarterly royalty payment in about 10 years. Foley added that he is now focused on a new chapter with AEW, where new merchandise is in development, as well as several other upcoming projects outside WWE.
Next week’s edition of WWE Raw at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, has reportedly distributed 9,971 tickets, according to WrestleTix, an increase of 398 since the previous update. While that figure is well below the 16,642 tickets distributed for the last WWE television taping at the venue, a September 2025 episode of SmackDown, that event featured John Cena‘s final in-ring appearance in Chicago and his last advertised SmackDown appearance. As a result, the current sales are viewed as solid, with attendance expected to surpass 10,500 by the time Raw goes live on Monday.
