Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has named the opponent he wants to face the most in WWE.
Cody Rhodes has revealed the opponent he would most like to face, naming CM Punk as a dream match. Speaking to ESPN, Rhodes said a bout with Punk is something fans have discussed, but admitted it may be difficult to bring together.
“All-time dream match… I’d like to be part of is probably myself versus CM Punk,” he said.
Rhodes also questioned whether the match would realistically happen, pointing to the collaborative nature of modern wrestling.
“The likelihood of it happening, who knows? Wrestling has gotten more… it’s difficult. I don’t know if he’d want that, and I don’t even know if I’d want it. But I know it would just be really great and be very good for wrestling.”
