The fallout from WrestleMania 42 shaped Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, with new challengers emerging, rivalries escalating, and several key storylines continuing into the post-Mania period.
The show opened with a lengthy recap of WrestleMania, including the moment involving Brock Lesnar removing his gloves and boots, with commentary suggesting he may have “called it a day.”
Oba Femi then appeared in the arena, receiving a strong reaction before briefly declaring, “The ruler has arrived,” and leaving the ring.
In tag team action, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane. The match saw outside interference attempts and multiple near falls before Ripley hit Riptide on Sane, allowing Sky to follow with a moonsault for the victory.
Backstage, Ethan Page was introduced as the newest member of the WWE Raw roster and immediately targeted the Intercontinental Championship, leading to a match being set against Je’Von Evans.
Elsewhere, CM Punk addressed his recent loss in a reflective promo, discussing personal hardships and thanking fans for their support. Cody Rhodes interrupted, appearing with a visible eye injury, and the two shared a tense exchange, with Punk stating he would remain ready for another title opportunity. Rhodes responded, “Just say when.”
In singles action, Page defeated Evans after outside involvement from Rusev, who attacked Evans during the match. Rusev continued the assault after the bell, also taking out Penta and standing tall with the Intercontinental Championship.
Liv Morgan retained momentum following WrestleMania by defeating Sol Ruca. Ruca impressed with her offence and briefly had the match won, but interference from Zaria allowed Morgan to recover and secure the victory with Oblivion. Stephanie Vaquer later confronted Morgan on the ramp.
A chaotic segment involving Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory led to a brawl when Seth Rollins attacked Bron Breakker. The Street Profits briefly gained the upper hand before Breakker recovered and laid out Rollins with multiple spears.
Finn Balor later defeated JD McDonagh, overcoming a physical contest to win with Coup de Grace. Post-match, Balor fended off an attack from Dominik Mysterio before McDonagh pulled him to safety.
In backstage interviews, Gunther declared his intention to regain the world title, while LA Knight made it clear he was also targeting the championship picture.
The show concluded with Roman Reigns addressing the crowd alongside Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, focusing on family unity. The segment was interrupted by Jacob Fatu, who challenged Reigns and made his intentions clear.
Reigns responded by questioning whether Fatu could handle the pressure of being at the top before telling him he would deliver an answer next week, closing the show with a new rivalry taking shape.
