Charlotte Flair is more than happy to share the WrestleMania spotlight with Alexa Bliss.
At WrestleMania 42, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will be part of a Fatal Four-Way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles currently held by Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The match will mark the first time Flair has been part of a tag team bout on the Grandest Stage of Them All, having previously either challenged for or defended singles gold at the event.
Bliss and Flair first teamed up in June 2025, and the odd couple pairing has been such a hit with fans that they have become a staple of the women’s tag team division ever since.
While appearing on SportsCenter, The Queen admitted she wouldn’t have liked to share the spotlight in previous years, but says the partnership with Bliss is different and has allowed her to show a different side of herself.
“If you’d asked me probably the last eight WrestleManias, I would have said, yeah, I don’t like sharing the spotlight, says Charlotte Flair. But having this incredible year with her by my side and being able to bring out a different side of my character, which has allowed me to connect with the fans in a different way than I ever have before, is just testament to our (Alexa Bliss) friendship, testament to the bond, testament to my loyal fans.
“If you had asked me last year if I’d had this on my bingo card, I’d definitely said no. Sometimes I think the best things are the ones that no one could have written or expected or planned, and it was so organic, and yeah, I’m looking forward to The Fatal Four-Way.”
Charlotte Flair Reveals How WWE Unreal Has Helped Her Character
As well as Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair has credited WWE Unreal with helping her connect with fans. The star says appearing on the reality show has done wonders for her, as it has allowed fans to see the woman behind the villainous character they see on TV.
While some wrestlers have shied away from appearing on Unreal as they believe it lifts the curtain a bit too much, Flair has a different view on things. She believes it’s an evolution of the business, and if people are good at their jobs, “it shouldn’t be an issue.”
