Ryan Nemeth appeared to take a shot at CM Punk on social media after fan-recorded footage surfaced showing Punk training with a noticeably larger physique during his absence from WWE television. In a post on Twitter, Nemeth mocked unnamed straight-edge individuals who claim not to put anything in their bodies while allegedly using performance-enhancing drugs, writing that they are against putting “anything” in their bodies except steroids. Although Punk was never mentioned by name, many fans quickly interpreted the post as a reference to him, given the timing and recent online discussion surrounding Punk’s appearance. Neither man has publicly commented on the speculation.
