Mark Briscoe‘s return to AEW remains uncertain after an injury update was provided during the latest Collision tapings.
During the episode, Mark Briscoe’s Conglomeration teammates revealed they do not know when the former ROH World Champion will return to action after the injuries he sustained in recent weeks.
The update came in a backstage promo featuring Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong. Addressing the status of The Conglomeration, O’Reilly confirmed that both Briscoe and Tomohiro Ishii are currently sidelined.
“Because of his injuries, we don’t know when we’re gonna see Mark again,” O’Reilly said.
The group did provide one positive update, with Cassidy revealing that Willow Nightingale is expected to return soon, before the segment was interrupted by AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, who promoted Kyle Fletcher‘s upcoming title match on next week’s Dynamite.

AEW has not confirmed the nature or severity of Briscoe’s injuries, nor has the company announced a timetable for his return.
When Did Mark Briscoe Last Wrestle For AEW?
Mark Briscoe last competed on the July 1 episode of Dynamite, where he challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship after earning the opportunity at AEW Forbidden Door.
The title match turned into a physical encounter, with MJF repeatedly targeting Briscoe’s heavily bandaged forehead throughout the contest. The champion eventually retained the title following the Heatseeker piledriver, then continued his attack after the bell.
Kenny Omega then ran to the ring to stop the assault, bringing the post-match attack to an end.
Briscoe’s latest setback comes after he recently returned to the AEW World Championship picture following an earlier spell on the sidelines, with AEW offering no indication of when he will be medically cleared to compete again.
