AEW will return to Arena Mexico with the second installment of Grand Slam Mexico.
Following the success of the first Grand Slam Mexico in June 2025, AEW has announced that the event will return on August 5th, 2026, once again emanating from Mexico City’s Arena Mexico.
According to the press release for the event, tickets will go on sale on Saturday, June 6th at 10am CST, with further details to follow in the near future.
“June 2, 2026 – All Elite Wrestling (AEW) today announced that AEW Grand Slam: Mexico will return to Arena Mexico on Wednesday, August 5. The event will air live in the United States on TBS and stream live on HBO Max and in Mexico on Fox Sports Mexico.
Tickets for AEW Grand Slam: Mexico will go on sale this Saturday, June 6 at 10AM CST via AEWTix.com and Ticketmaster.com.mx.

The inaugural Grand Slam Mexico saw Mercedes Mone defeating Zeuxis to capture the CMLL World Women’s Championship, Mistico taking on MJF, and Kazuchika Okada battling Mark Briscoe,

AEW Double Or Nothing Was A Major Success
AEW’s latest major event, Double or Nothing, was reportedly highly successful for the company. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the show generated the largest pay-per-view audience to date on HBO Max, with viewers up 15% from Revolution. Meltzer believes that the event finished up among the “top five or six” views in the history of the company.
