AEW has announced details for the 2026 edition of WrestleDream.
In an article in the Orlando Sentinel, it was announced that WrestleDream will take place in the Florida city’s Addition Financial Arena on October 17th. Tony Khan told the Sentinel that the event originated as a tribute to the late, great Antonio Inoki, founder of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
“I was inspired by pro wrestling’s greatest dreamer, Antonio Inoki. One year after he passed, I founded the show and it’s one of my favorite times of the year. It’s featured some of my favorite moments in AEW.”
Tickets for the event will go on general sale on August 10th, while an early access presale for premium seating begins on August 4th. Fans will be able to access presales by signing up through the promotion’s website.

The last time the promotion held a pay-per-view in the Addition Financial Arena was Worlds End in December 2024. At the event, Kazuchika Okada defeated Will Ospreay to win the Continental Classic, while Jon Moxley overcame Orange Cassidy, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, and Jay White to retain the AEW World Title.
Tony Khan Provides Update On Future AEW Video Games
Tony Khan recently gave an update on a potential sequel to Fight Forever. The AEW President said the promotion had learned from the experience of developing the first game, which had a mixed reaction from fans. He does not plan to rush into another console game, but would be “interested” in trying again in future.
