Adam Copeland has raised the stakes following his recent loss at AEW Dynasty, proposing a high-risk rematch that could mark the end of his partnership with Christian Cage.
After failing to capture the AEW Tag Team Championships from FTR earlier this month, Adam Copeland addressed the situation during a backstage segment on last night’s AEW Dynamite. He responded directly to comments from champions Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, who had claimed the duo would not receive another title opportunity.
Copeland disagreed with that assessment and issued a new challenge, proposing a New York Street Fight for the AEW Tag Team Titles at Double or Nothing.
The former world champion added a significant stipulation to the match, stating that if he and Cage fail to win, they will retire as a team.

FTR Haven’t Yet Responded To Adam Copeland’s Challenge
The challenge places added pressure on FTR, who have yet to respond, while also setting up a potential final chapter for the long-time partnership between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. With Double or Nothing still weeks away, the situation now centres on whether the champions will accept the terms and agree to the high-stakes rematch.
