2 Cold Scorpio (Charles Scaggs) has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to assault and armed criminal action.
Scaggs had been working as a security guard at a gas station. He confronted a customer who was smoking in the store. A fight broke out between the two outside and Scaggs pulled out a knife stabbing the man multiple times.
Scaggs had claimed he acted in self-defense.
Instead of serving his entire sentence, Scaggs will be sent to a Department of Corrections facility to complete a boot-camp-style program. If Scaggs completes the program successfully, he will be granted probation serving the remainder of his six-year term under supervision in the community.
If he isn’t successful, he will be required to serve out the remainder of the full six-year prison sentence.
