One of my favorite wrestling card releases in recent years was All “Echh”Lite trading cards, the unauthorized AEW/Garbage Pail Kids parody set created by artist Mad Mod Poet God, real name Terry Gordon. In my opinion, no other parody card set has captured the original, bloody, anarchic spirit of Garbage Pail Kids (GPK) like Gordon’s All “Echh” Lite trading cards. Since then, I began following Gordon on Instagram, “hearting” all of his GPK-adjacent posts (especially the wrestling ones), so when he recently shared that All “Echh” Lite series two was complete, I immediately placed an order.

Pack of All “Echh” Lite trading cards
Similar to All “Echh” Lite series one, each pack of series two comes with the full set of ten All “Echh” Lite trading cards, as well as a randomly inserted hologram or sketch card, and other possible goodies like bonus stickers. This time, I ordered two packs of cards, instead of just one, because I wanted a full set for myself, as well as one to give away, and I wanted more extras this time around.
Right off the bat, this is another excellent set of cards designed by Gordon, with a great expansion of the checklist from series one, including GPK versions of Swerve Strickland, Orange Cassidy, Christian Cage, Brian Cage, and Claudio Castagnoli, to name a few. Once again, this is not an official GPK or AEW set of cards, but even casual fans of AEW should be able to tell who’s who.

The art and design is top-notch, a level of quality one would expect from an official release, and I love how each card has a little joke above the nameplate, reminiscent of how AEW uses their lower third graphics. For example, on the card for “Clobberin Cage,” which depicts a wrestler using a hockey stick to pummel someone lying in a grave, the line above the nameplate reads, “Not your typical father figure.”
Plus, the cards are appropriately bloody and gross, like the original Garbage Pail Kids, and frankly like many AEW matches, so the wrestler Claudio is swinging is spraying green, chunky vomit, and on Swerve’s card, he’s using a tap on his forehead to fill a beer mug with blood.
They’re all incredible works of art, but I’d have to say my favorite card is the Orange Cassidy parody, due to its almost elegant simplicity. This card, which is titled “Clever Name” in lieu of a joke or pun on Orange Cassidy, and a “Whatever” instead of a joke, features a very OC looking figure with jeans that appear to be “soiled” with orange juice. It perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Orange Cassidy, while also poking fun at him. I love it.
Overall, this is just an incredible set of cards, and I can only hope Gordon will continue to make more. The interesting twist is Gordon is an official Garbage Pail Kids sketch artist, meaning that he creates original GPK sketch cards that have been randomly inserted in official packs of GPK cards, and now that WWE is back with Topps, it’s possible that Topps might do another official WWE GPK set.
Will Gordon have the opportunity to design some official WWE GPK cards? I hope so, but I also hope to eventually see a third series of All “Echh” Lite trading cards.
