Braun Strowman gave fans a health update today after missing WWE TV.
In a social media post Strowman says a nasty flu bug sidelined him and took a very nasty toll on his body.
“2025 has been off to a ruff start for me. I picked up some kind of a bug last week and it had absolutely whipped my ass,” he wrote.
Strowman states the illness had he him laid up in a hotel room for four days and the first three days his temperature was 102 or higher.
“Today is the first day I have been able to move around and really do anything. I have lost 36 lbs. this week,” he said.
Strowman had an battery of tests done to determine what the illness was. It was determined it was just a “very bad flu”.
“I hate I have had to miss last week’s Smackdown and the premier of Raw on Netflix and I will miss TV again this week. This is yet another speed bump in the road. I will be back bigger stronger and badder than ever!” he wrote.
In 2023 and 2024, Strowman was out of action due to neck surgery and a torn groin injury.
