Well, that was quick.

Speaking with USA Today, Perry revealed she has left AEW and is a free agent.

As for the future, she still wants to fill a manager role in pro-wrestling.

“I’m really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible. I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman,” she said.

Perry also referred to the WWE as “in her heart and soul”. She sees it as “the greatest franchise in the world.”

Perry, formerly Lana in WWE, jumped to AEW in September of last year but was barely used by the promotion. She only appeared a handful of times. She was quickly put into an angle with her then real-life husband Miro and Andrade. Perry and Miro are currently separated. Her last appearance for AEW was at Worlds End in December of last year.
