Liv Morgan case closed

The criminal case against WWE superstar Liv Morgan is officially closed according to PWinsider.

Morgan (Gionna Daddio) was arrested last December for possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid in Sumter County, Florida.

The most serious charge, the possession charge, was dropped last month.

An Assistant State Attorney in Sumter County explained to The National Desk: “In order to prove the charge possession of THC, the State is required to prove that the THC came from synthetic sources and was not derived from plant sources. No labs in the State of Florida perform such tests so we remanded it to county court as Possession of Cannabis.”

The possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis is a misdemeanor charge in Florida. Morgan accepted the conviction but did not officially admit guilt to the charge. Morgan was fined $543.00 for the misdemeanor offence.

In December of last year, Sumter County police in Florida noticed a vehicle driving erratically and that the “vehicle crossed over the yellow and white lines on the roadway several times”. An officer who stopped the vehicle could smell marijuana. Inside the vehicle police found a bag containing marijuana, a vape pen containing an oil-like substance which tested positive for marijuana. Morgan was driving that car was arrested and charged.
