As much as he plays the heel in GCW, the self-proclaimed “Death Match King” Matt Cardona has made it a point to include some of his biggest independent wrestling rivals in the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast’s line of Major Bendies wrestling figures. In series three, Effy received a Major Bendie that was so popular they even released a limited edition 2023 WrestleCon exclusive bloody rainbow variant. For series four, it was announced that Joey Janela would get a Major Bendie, as well as a bloody variant chase figure.
But the latest announcement of the newest standalone Major Bendie wrestling figure features Cardona’s latest partner in crime, Steph De Lander. Formerly known as Persia Perrotta when she wrestled on NXT 2.0, until her release in April 2022, the 26 year-old Australian De Lander has had a breakout couple of months, since debuting with Impact in February 2023 and aligning herself with Cardona for GCW shortly after. De Lander never received a wrestling figure as Persia Perrotta, so this is the first figure for the self-proclaimed “Baddest B#tch” on the indys.
