It was a short, sweet and welcome statement from WWE.

“Effective immediately, Paul Levesque will resume his executive position as EVP, Talent Relations.”

The statement was followed up by a message to the WWE Universe from Triple H himself.

“I look forward to returning to my prior position as head of Talent Relations. I’m healthy, fired up, and ready to take charge,” said Levesque.

In March of this year, Triple H announced that he would never wrestle again. At this year’s WrestleMania he laid down his boots in the middle of the ring to make the decision official.

After his heart troubles in September 2021, HHH had a defibrillator installed, which will prevent him from donning the tights and competing again.

That September incident also included viral pneumonia and inflamed lungs, to the point he was coughing up blood. The heart failure was detected at the hospital in the emergency room.

Up until his health issues HHH was the executive vice president for Global Talent Strategy & Development and is also executive producer of the NXT.

The position of EVP, Talent Relations was held by John Laurinaitis who is now under investigation by the WWE board of directors for alleged misconduct.

Bruce Prichard was serving as the Interim Head of Talent Relations.
