AEW President Tony Khan has pretty much promised a huge signing will be showing up on Dynamite this evening. The fans didn’t get that last week, but a forty minute match between MJF and CM Punk should have made up for that. It is Wednesday night; let’s get right to the action.
Wardlow walks out with cardboard cutouts of MJF choking out CM Punk and one of MJF celebrating after his win over Punk last week. Wardlow makes Justin Roberts introduce the rest of Pinnacle to the ring, with a special introduction for Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Max is carried to the ring on a litter. Wow, this is quite the celebration for a guy that didn’t even win a title. MJF calls himself the best in the world, actually he calls himself better than the best in the world. Max did have some words for Punk after their match, “You suck!”
MJF thanks Shawn Spears for his help in training for the match. Spear has a gift, it’s a brand new shirt for MJF, available now on AEWshop.com. MJF wants to become the next AEW champion, when CM Punk walks out on stage.
Punk calls MJF’s win suspect and now he has learned he needs some help. Punk brought friends; Darby Allin and Sting and three baseball bats. Punk is either going to get a rematch or they will beat them down. Punk doesn’t want MJF, though, he wants Wardlow in the ring. Max claims he beat Punk on his own, which is a lie. Dax Harwood seems to want a rematch in a trios match. MJF refuse to wrestle in Atlantic City. MJF is willing to roll the dice. If Punk can beat FTR with any partner of his choosing, MJF will grant him a match. He can’t choose Allin or Sting, though. MJF tells Wardlow to suit up for a match.
After the commercial break, Andrade El Idolo finally meets with Darby Allin and Sting. Allin tells Andrade he his wasting his time because Darby has bigger things on his mind; like winning the TNT championship. Andrade vows that Allin will work for him.

He tosses Blade across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex. On the floor, Wardlow slams the Blade into the ring post. Back in the ring, Wardlow charges into a knee strike. Blade goes high risk, gets caught and gets power bombed. The crowd wants more and Wardlow delivers. He hits three more power bombs before making the cover with a boot on the chest.

Penta el Zero delivers a message to Malakai Black in a vignette.
Chris Jericho leads Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager to the ring for an Inner Circle team meeting. Santana and Ortiz are conspicuously absent. Jericho hasn’t seen them all day, until their music hits. Jericho wants to know why they didn’t tag him in during their match two weeks ago. He calls it unacceptable and disrespectful and wants an answer. Santana speaks for them both and they feel that Jericho is only looking out for himself. Any tag team title aspirations have been shot down in order to help Jericho. They will no longer play second fiddle. Santana wants Jericho to know that if it weren’t for Ortiz holding him back, he would have dropped him long ago.
Jericho thinks Eddie Kingston has planted these ideas in their head. Kingston has no stroke, all Jericho has done is turned them into main eventers. Jericho isn’t pleased that they are dumping their problems on him and threatens to kick him out. He thinks maybe he invited the wrong two members of LAX. Santana goes after Jericho and Sammy breaks them apart. For his trouble, Jericho snaps at him.
Sammy wants everyone to figure this out or he is going to quit. He drops his jacket in the ring and walks off. Ortiz knows all this bickering won’t solve anything. He wants to settle this in the ring. He challenges Jericho and Hager to fight. Jericho didn’t want it to come to this, but accepts the match.
Tony Schiavone interviews Roppongi Vice heading into their match with the Young Bucks on Friday. The Bucks interrupt and distract them, allowing Adam Cole to attack form behind. The Bucks hit the V Trigger and Jay White from New Japan joins in on the attack.

You read the right. The Limitless One Keith Lee is ALL ELITE! I wish his reveal would have been more meaningful than just coming out for a match. I mean they all ready set up that CM Punk needs a partner tonight. Lee tosses Kassidy across the ring, catching big air. Isaiah’s attacks don’t land with much force. Lee smashes Kassidy into the turnbuckle and wipes him out with a cross body block. Kassidy wants a clothesline, but Lee runs right through it. He bounces off the ropes and pounces, sending Kassidy over the top rope to the floor. Hardy has seen enough and walks off. Kassidy is able to mount some offense, taking out Lee on the floor with a move over the tope rope. Lee swats Kassidy out of mid-air during a spin kick. Lee pops Kassidy up onto his shoulders and drops him with a Death Valley Driver. Lee covers and gets the win.

Moxley takes out everyone with a suicide dive.
During the break, Mox is slammed through a table on the outside. The ref counts to nine as Moxley dives back into the ring. He has to fight his way out of the heel corner, but Punk is occupied with Harwood when he looks for the tag. FTR double teams Mox with the leg drop, but can’t get the pin. Dax goes up top, but Moxley rolls away. Harwood crashes and burns. Punk gets the hot tag and connects with a leg lariat. He follows with a rising knee strike on Dax. Punk and Moxley team up for a Doomsday Device, but Harwood kicks out of the pin. Wheeler DDTs Moxley on the floor and grabs the ring bell. Punk with a roll up. Dax sends him into the ropes and Wheeler clocks him with the bell. Punk kicks out of the pin.
Harwood blocks the GTS and Wheeler jumps in to hit the Big Rig. Moxley breaks up the pin. All four men are in the ring trading shots. Mox breaks up a pile driver attempt. Punk gets Wheeler to tap out in an anaconda vice, but the ref is preoccupied. Tulley Blanchard gets involved. Punk hits him with the GTS, but Wheeler rolls him up from behind. Punk kicks out. Mox cuts off Harwood, hitting him with the Paradigm Shift as Punk hits Wheeler with the GTS. Punk covers and gets the win.

Winner…and still TBS champion…via pinfall: Jade Cargill
The Cutler Cam has the Young Bucks and Adam Cole. The Bucks have heard their opponents on Friday aren’t at 100%. Cole says Jay White has their backs, but Bucks would have appreciated a heads up. Even though they are the Elite, they are still Bullet Club and Bullet Club is for life. The Bucks still don’t really know what is going on.
Serena Deeb walks out and issues a five minute challenge, because she doesn’t think any rookie can go that long with her.
Serena Deeb vs. Katie Arquette
Well, Katie is making her Dynamite debut. Deeb backs her into the corner and hits an uppercut. She then turns her back. Katie with a waist lock, but Deeb counters into a neck breaker. She applies and armbar/crab combo and Arquette taps out.

Lance Archer (challenger) vs. Hangman Adam Page (champion) – AEW World Championship Texas Deathmatch
The fight has all ready started in the back before the introduction can even be made. The two fight out of the tunnel and the bell rings. Page clocks Archer with the title belt and smashes him through a pane of glass. He drags a bleeding Archer to the mat and wants the Buckshot Lariat. He connects but Archer rolls to the floor. Page dives through the ropes, right into a trash can lid. Archer pummels him with the lid. Dan Lambert runs down and is unscrewing the ring ropes, while Archer and Page fight into the crowd.
