RAW: Big E solidifies himself as the face of Monday Night, despite Rollins’ best efforts

With the calendar turning to November it is officially Survivor Series season in WWE. But first we have to resolve some drama in the women’s division. What was a feud for the Smackdown Women’s title, has become a feud for the RAW Women’s title as both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair where drafted to the red brand. Things come to a head, tonight, in a match for the title.

Bianca Belair tells Sarah Schreiber that she doesn’t regret her mistake in losing to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam.

Schreiber then gets a word with Lynch, claiming that Belair only rose to the top because she wasn’t there to stop her.

Becky Lynch (champion) vs. Bianca Belair (challenger) – RAW Women’s Title Match

Becky disrespects Bianca, who takes the champ to the mat with a waist lock. Bianca with a springboard moonsault, but only gets a two count. Becky catches Bianca on the floor and grabs ahold of the braid, but Bianca is able to yank Lynch into the ring post and then slam her on the apron. The champ counters a delayed vertical suplex with an inside cradle, but Belair kicks out. Bianca build momentum with forearm shots and picks Lynch up for a holding vertical suplex. Becky is sent into the turnbuckle as Bianca kicks out of a Okada roll. Belair follows with a gut buster. The two trade near falls until Lynch tries to lock in the Dis-Arm-Her. Bianca picks the champ up and both crash over the top rope to the floor as we go to commercial.

After the break, Belair runs into a boot, but catches Lynch on the top turnbuckle. Bianca military presses the champ and drops her in the middle of the ring. Lynch blocks a moonsault by getting her knees up. She slams Belair to the mat, but can’t get the three count as Bianca gets a foot on the ropes. Bianca catches Lynch on her shoulders on the floor and drops her on the announce table, but can’t get her into the ring fast enough to get a pin. Belair picks Lynch up in a chicken wing and drop her face first. Belair goes up top, but bails on the move. Lynch traps her in the corner, but Bianca is able to get her up for the KOD. Lynch grabs the turnbuckle, ripping the padding off to save herself. She then smashes Bianca in to the exposed turnbuckle. Becky rolls her up and grabs the tights to get the pin.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio talk to Kevin Patrick about Austin Theory, who is very disrespectful. Theory interrupts and wants a selfie with Rey, after he beats him. Dom tells Theory he needs to show Rey some respect.

Theory knocks Rey out of the ring and celebrates, giving Mysterio plenty of time to run back in and knock Austin to the mat. Austin chains a double foot stomp into a fisherman’s suplex. Theory gets Rey in a torture rack and stares down Dom. Austin offers for Dom to get in the ring before taking Rey down with a drop kick. The fights spills to the floor, but Rey takes out Austin with a DDT on the floor. In the ring, Rey hits a seated senton and nearly gets a pin. The two trade drop kicks and both men are down. Theory takes out Dom with a drop kick and picks up Rey. Mysterio sends him into the ropes with a hurricanrana. Dominik slaps Theory are Rey hits the 619. Rey goes for the cover, but the ref calls for the bell, disqualifying Rey.

Winner via disqualification: Austin Theory

So Seth Rollins won a contract in a ladder match that guarantees him a WWE Championship match, but since it isn’t in a briefcase it isn’t Money in the Bank. Rollins isn’t here to toot his own horn, but TOOT TOOT. He is the face of Monday Night RAW and all he is missing is a title, but the contract guarantees you are looking at the next WWE Champion.

The current champ, Big E, has a small issue with what Rollins is saying. He isn’t pleased that Seth blew him off last week. Seth isn’t happy that Big E told him to go earn an opportunity and then didn’t shake his hand after he did. Seth tells E that they are not on the same level. Seth wants to take the responsibility of being a champ, so Big E can go back to being a joke with his friends. Big E offers to face Seth Rollins tonight for the WWE Championship. Seth wants everyone to slow their roll; he tells the people they don’t want to see that. The crowd does not sway Rollins, who claims he is not one hundred percent.

Kevin Owens wades into the situation. Rollins tells KO that he has no right to be here. Owens doesn’t care and wants to clear up who is the face of Monday Night RAW; he stakes a claim for himself. Why? Because last week, people were talking about his performance in the ladder match. Things haven’t worked out for KO, but he will just keep fighting. Owens wants Big E in the ring, tonight. Owens tells Rollins to shut it Big E accepts KO’s request.

Zelina Vega has affected an English accent since becoming Queen of the Ring. Vega isn’t a fan of Nikki A.S.H.’s mask, but the tag team champs hear her and challenge Vega and Carmella to a match.

Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley vs. Queen Zelina and Carmella – Non Title Match

Carmella delays the start of the match, so she can get her protective face mask. Zelina faces off with Rhea with no fear. Carmella tags in and Ripley unloads on her with body shots and drop kick. The rest of the RAW women’s roster (all four of them, well minus Becky and Bianca) watch in the back. A cross body from Nikki lays out the Queen and Carmella on the floor. In the ring, Nikki with mounted punches on Zelina before hitting a swinging neck breaker. Carmella makes the save. Rhea pulls Carmella out of the ring, only to get smashed into the ring post and barricade. Nikki avoid a superkick from Carmella, but this allows Vega to hit the sunset flip powerbomb and get the pin.

The Alpha Academy offers to help Big E. They can make his title reign mean something. E turns them down. Chad Gable wants Big E to watch what he is going to do to Finn Balor.

Gable shows Big E something; dominating Balor with wrestling holds. Balor responds with a double foot stomp to the chest. Gable ducks the drop kick and applies an ankle lock. Balor counters into an arm bar and Gable escapes into the ankle lock. Balor breaks free and hits another stomp. Gable with a German suplex and bridges into a pin. Balor kicks out. Gable goes up top, but Balor blocks the moonsault. Finn with a drop kick into the corner and goes up top, favoring the ankle. Gable catches him and hits a superplex. Balor counters the landing with a cradle and is able to get the three count.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode approach Riddle backstage, who just confuses them with talk about dogs. They want Riddle to pay attention tonight, because last week was a fluke.

The Street Profits vs. The Dirty Dogs

RK Bro joins the commentary table as they will face the winners of this match.  Riddle gets a Randy chant going in the arena. Roode gets dumped to the floor in front of the champs and then Angelo Dawkins stares them down. Back in the ring, Ziggler distracts the ref so Roode can choke Dawkins in the corner. Dawkins catches the super kick and hits the silencer. Roode cuts Dawkins off from making a tag. Angelo hits a suplex and Ford get the hot tag. Roode looks for a suplex, but Montez lands on his feet. Ziggler breaks up the pin and gets dumped out of the ring. Ford and Roode trade near falls. Ziggler makes a blind tag. Ford is launched into a DDT, but Dawkins breaks up the pin. Dawkins gets run into the ring post, only to have Ford fly over the ring post to take out the Dirty Dogs.

Omos hits the ramp, distracting everyone. Ziggler with a strike to Ford and covers him to get the pin.

After the match, Angelo Dawkins attacks Omos only to get slammed into the security barrier. Riddle tries to make the save only to get slammed onto the ring apron. Orton is furious.

United States Champion Damien Priest talks to Kevin Patrick about a more viscous side coming out last week. He gives respect, but T-Bar brought that side out when he threw a chair.

Damien Priest vs. T-Bar – No Disqualification Match

The fight immediately goes to the floor. Priest is slammed into the announce table, but then reverse an Irish whip, send T-Bar crashing into barrier. It doesn’t take long for a table to get set up at ringside. Priest eats a big boot and tastes the steel of the ring post once again. He avoids a kick on the apron and goes up top. T-Bar stops him with a big kick. He picks up Priest and slams him to the mat with suplex off the top.

After the commercial break, Priest connects with a spinning heel kick and follows with a falcon arrow. T-Bar grabs Priest by the throat on the turnbuckle and drops him with chokeslam back breaker. T-Bar ties Damien up in the ropes and tosses chairs into the ring. He grabs a kendo stick and goes to work on the chest of Priest. After escaping, Priest hits a lariat and grabs a chair. He slams it repeatedly over the back of the T-Bar. Damien has lost it, choke slamming T-Bar off the apron, through a table, to the floor. Priest hits the Reckoning in the ring and covers to get the pin.

After the match, Apollo Crews congratulates Priest on his match and introduces himself. He is here with Commander Aziz to breathe new life into Monday Night RAW. Crews will give Priest the honor of losing the United States title to him.

Reggie almost gets caught by R Truth and crew but is able to parkour his way out of trouble. Truth blames John Morrison for Reggie getting away.

Sarah Schreiber asks Becky about using underhanded tactics to retain her title. Becky is more concerned with the fans that were booing her. She proved that Bianca is in way over head and needs to get to the back of the line. Looks like Liv Morgan is ready to step up.

Seth Rollins wants a words with Kevin Owens. He wants to do business. He will help KO get the win and when Seth wins the title, Rollins will give Owens the first crack at it. KO tells Seth he can come out, but if he interferes he will handle his business. Rollins tells KO to keep fighting, while he keeps winning.

Big E vs. Kevin Owens – Non-Title Match

This is the first time ever these two men have faced each other one on one. A shoulder block from Owens sends Big E to the mat. KO with a drop kick from the middle rope, but Big E responds with a belly to belly suplex. A low bridges sends E to the floor, but he pulls Owens to apron. Big E misses the splash, crashing and burning on the ring apron. Owens with a cannon ball off the apron and follows with a senton on the floor. Seth Rollins ruins the moment by making his entrance with contract in hand.

Rollins takes a seat at ringside, as Owens hits a superplex from the second rope. The two men collide in the middle of the ring. Big E with another belly to belly slam, but then misses on a splash. KO with a superkick and follows up with a cannon ball in the corner. Owens hits a tap rope senton, but Big E kicks out of the pin. Big E charges Owens, who gets a knee up. Owens runs right into a slam. Owens is set up on the top turnbuckle, but is able to push Big E to the mat. Owens looks for another senton, but Big E blocks with his knees. Big E spears Owens through the ropes to the floor. He calls for the Big Ending, but Owens escapes and the two collide heads. Rollins hits Big E with a cheap shot at the ref attends to Owens. KO covers, but Big E reverses the pin and gets the three count.

Winner via pinfall: Big E

After the match, Owens tries to apologize for what happened, but then turns his attention to Seth Rollins. He wants Seth one on one next week. Big E doesn’t care about an apology. Owens reaches out to him, only to get the Big Ending.
