Going into Monday, WWE had only announced a double contract signing for RAW; that’s it. No matches, just a couple of contract signings. The rest of the show is going to a surprise; given the WWE track record, that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Good news, though, later in the day two matches were announced. Apollo Crews is going to face MVP in a non-title match and the Viking Raiders will take on Andrade and Angel Garza. Championship Monday really spoiled us last week.

The show starts off with a huge surprise. Sasha Banks and Bayley are beating Asuka down in the ring, as Samoa Joe tries to gain control of the situation. WWE officials break up the fight for a hot second as Joe tries to get the contract signing underway. Dolph Ziggler doesn’t want to wait for his introduction, interrupting Joe. Ziggler won’t even let Joe do his job; introducing WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for him.

All the participants are at the table, that doesn’t look long for this world. Ziggler claims to Drew that he created him and he will end him. He signs the contract, as does the champ.  Drew does Dolph a favor, since he is family, by offering him the chance to pick the match stipulation.

Asuka interrupts Dolph, yelling and screaming. The champ signs the contract. Banks tells her that she and Bayley are taking over the company and stamps the contract. Asuka doesn’t take to that, attacking Banks and Bayley. Dolph uses the commotion to land a blind side super kick, but Drew catches him and Ziggler retreats out of the ring.

Monday Night RAW - June 29, 2020

WWE Performance Center, Orlando, Florida

The WWE gets some benefit of the doubt, tonight, as they were working with a very short roster. Many superstars pulled double duty tonight. That being said, nothing was must see. The mixed tag match could be worth a watch, but the show is very easy to skip.
