Lisa Marie Varon is hanging up her boots.
Known by her ring name of Victoria in WWE and Tara in Impact Wrestling, Varon retired after defeating Melina in the Masters of Ring Entertainment over the weekend.
Varon took to social media to thank fans for all of their support over the years.
“Don’t be sad for me, be happy for me. I had an awesome 20 year run. I love you all so very much. I’m appreciative of your support and loyalty,” she wrote on Instagram.
In the WWE, Varon was the WWE Women’s Champion twice and in Impact she was the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship five times and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship once with Brooke Tessmacher as her partner.
Varon currently owns a wrestling-themed restaurant in Chicago, Illinois named The Squared Circle.
