In the main event of Night 14 of the G1 Climax tournament it was do-or-die for Yuto-Ice in his match with Shingo Takagi. If he lost, his tournament hopes were over.
In one of the hardest hitting matches of the tournament, it didn’t take long for the fight to hit the floor. Takagi whips Ice into the ringside barricade. Takagi rams Ice’s head into some hastily abandoned seats. Takagi stands on Ice’s throat choking him out. Ice sits Takagi down with some stiff shots.
Takagi is clocked with a running knee in the corner as the match continues in the ring. Takagi catches Ice’s leg halting a running kick to the face. A Dragon Screw Leg Whip softens Ice’s leg up for more damage. Both men get to their feet and exchange chops. Takagi suplexes Ice down from the second rope. Ice refuses to go down from a Pumping Bomber. They exchange kicks and punches. Ice kicks out of Made in Japan. Ice ducks a kick to the head landing one of his own.
Exhausted they trade shots again. A head butt from Ice bring Takagi to his knees. Ice pins Takagi with a knee to the face.
As things stand now B Block, Gabe Kidd, Ren Narita and Callum Newman are tied at the top of B Block with 10 points. Yuya Uemura, HENARE, OSKAR and Drilla Moloney all have eight.
In A Block, Takeshita sits at the top with Oiwa and Tsuji fighting to stay within striking distance.

They roll each other up like a zillion times. ZSJ gets the last.

Uemura catches Henare with his top rope flying body press for the win.

B Block – Aaron Wolf versus Ren Narita
Dick Togo attacks Tatsuya Matsumoto from behind as he comes out with Wolf. He is dragged to the back. Wolf and Narita throw each other into the barricades. Wolf hits the Landslide. Togo comes in with a steel chair. Matsumoto tries to stop him. He ducks and Togo hits the official with the chair. Matsumoto drop kicks him out of the ring. Togo through powder into Wolf’s face. Togo and Narita hit the Magic Killer. Narita gives a guillotine to Wolf’s leg. Wolf submits to a Figure Four.
Winner: Ren Narita
B Block – OSKAR versus Callum Newman
Newman leaps on Oskar’s back for a sleeper hold. Oskar falls backwards to break it. Oskar switches things around putting Newman in the Nightmare Sleeper. Newman swings Oskar into the official, mule kicks him in the “lower abdomen” and rolls him up in the most awkward roll-up I have ever seen with a handful of tights.

Oiwa makes Lee submit putting him out of G1 Climax with a weird single-leg Boston Crab.

A Block – Yota Tsuji versus Great-O-Khan
Tsuji charges at Khan. Khan pulls the official in the way. Khan punches Tsuji in the lower abdomen. Tsuji switches an eliminator into a DDT. Three Gene Blasters put Khan away.

A Block – Konosuke Takeshita versus SANADA
A dead lift German suplex and a running knee smash gets Takeshita a two count. Takeshita attempts Raging Fire but Sanada rolls him up for two. Shining Wizard from Sanada. Raging Fire pins Sanada.
Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
A Block – Hirooki Goto versus Boltin Oleg
Goto is already out of the tournament so he is just playing spoiler here. Oleg and Goto batter each other with clotheslines until a spin kick from Goto stuns Oleg. GTR for the 1,2,3.
