Indianapolis played host to a chaotic and combustible edition of WWE Raw, as the fallout from Elimination Chamber rippled across the red brand. With WrestleMania 42 looming, rivalries intensified, alliances fractured, and a shocking title change sent the Gainbridge Fieldhouse into a frenzy.
Last night’s WWE Raw was headlined by a venomous face-to-face between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns, but the road to that explosive closing segment was littered with ambushes, masked attackers, faction warfare and one major championship upheaval.
WWE Raw opened with Logan Paul, Austin Theory and Paul Heyman addressing the crowd, with Heyman vowing that Seth Rollins would pay for costing Paul the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Adam Pearce attempted to restore order, reminding everyone that Rollins was not medically cleared.
That warning proved meaningless.
Masked figures stormed ringside in waves, creating chaos and scattering security. Amid the confusion, a fifth masked man revealed himself as Rollins, who blasted Heyman across the spine with a steel chair before planting him with a Curb Stomp in the centre of the ring.
Later, as Heyman was being loaded into an ambulance, Jimmy Uso ambushed Theory. LA Knight was revealed as the driver, and the pair made off in the vehicle in a scene straight out of an action film.
As we head back to the ringside, Gunther makes his entrance for his match against Dragon Lee.
Gunther vs. Dragon Lee
Gunther and Dragon Lee barely waited for the bell, brawling from the entrance ramp to ringside. Once the match officially began, The Ring General systematically dismantled Lee, targeting his back and repeatedly teasing the removal of his mask.
Lee showed heart, landing a flurry of strikes and even countering into Operation Dragon, but Gunther’s power advantage proved decisive. After tearing Lee’s mask loose, Gunther cinched in a sleeper hold, forcing the tap-out.
Winner: Gunther
Post-match, Gunther refused to release the hold until the referee intervened.
Backstage, Asuka rips into Kairi Sane for failing to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match as The Empress of Tomorrow shoves the Pirate Princess and storms off. AJ Lee then checks on Sane and tells her to blink twice if she needs help.
Lee then makes her way to the ring.
Newly crowned Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee addressed the crowd, reflecting on her victory over Becky Lynch and admitting she had doubted whether she could still compete at the highest level. Declaring herself a fighting champion, she issued an open challenge for her title ahead of WrestleMania 42.
OG El Grande Americano makes his entrance for his match with Rayo Americano. Rayo, alongside the rest of Los Americanos, enters as we head to an ad break.
As we return from the break, we see a video from Liv Morgan who sends a message to Stephanie Vaquer ahead of their Women’s World Title clash at WrestleMania 42.
OG El Grande Americano vs. Rayo Americano
A spirited clash between the masked competitors saw high-risk offence from both men. Outside interference from Bravo Americano briefly swung momentum, but OG El Grande Americano rallied, finishing the bout with a rolling German suplex.
Winner: OG El Grande Americano
Rusev interrupted the show to call out Oba Femi, demanding an immediate fight. Femi obliged, and the two heavyweights traded blows in a wild brawl. After absorbing a flurry of kicks, Femi delivered a thunderous double chokeslam and sent Rusev tumbling to the floor.
Backstage, Lyra Valkyria encouraged Bayley to step up, while Iyo Sky was seen leaving Adam Pearce’s office, hinting at future developments.
We then saw Jimmy Uso make his entrance, and The Vision followed.
Austin Theory vs. Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso controlled much of the action until Logan Paul interfered, resulting in a disqualification. The Vision continued the assault until Jey Uso returned, wielding his crutch as a weapon. The Usos stood tall after planting Theory with 1D.
Winner: Jimmy Uso (via disqualification)
Backstage, we saw Danhausen giving Raw GM Adam Pearce a list of demands for his WWE career, including his own blimp, a WWE Hall of Fame induction, and his face on all of the company’s production trucks. As Danhausen was listing his demands, The Judgment Day walked by, and Pearce stopped them to introduce them to the new WWE debutant, and Danhausen responded by cursing Dominik Mysterio.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky made their way to the ring to be interviewed by Jackie Redmond, addressing the loss of the Women’s Tag Team Titles and Ripley’s upcoming WrestleMania 42 clash with Jade Cargill. Sky pledged her support, while Ripley vowed to capture the Women’s Championship on the grandest stage, effectively ending their run as tag partners.
Penta then made his way to the ring, followed by Judgment Day.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta
Dominik Mysterio attempted to unmask Penta and leaned heavily on Judgment Day’s presence at ringside, but dissension within the group played a role in the outcome. After countering a 619 attempt, Penta stunned the champion with a Mexican Destroyer to secure the victory.
Winner: Penta – NEW CHAMPION
Roman Reigns then made his way to the ring.
Reigns closed the show, demanding to be acknowledged, only for CM Punk to interrupt. The exchange quickly turned bitter, with Punk claiming he was carrying Reigns to WrestleMania and had already beaten him mentally.
Reigns admitted he hated Punk and dismissed him as a manufactured leader brought back for business reasons. As Reigns attempted to leave, Punk stopped him, reminding him that he had taken Paul Heyman from him and that he now stood alone.
The segment ended in shocking fashion as Punk vowed to bury Reigns next to his late father, sending the Indianapolis crowd into stunned silence as the show went off the air.
