NXT wastes no time this week. It is right into the action. Screw Booker and Vic.
BirthRight rolls in. Arianna Grace is going to win the women’s battle royal and King is going to take care of their Zilla problem. I know there is the whole BirthRight thing going on but King should be on the main roster. Team him with Ethan Page or something.
Zilla is ready for action. He is going to make King shout his name…or something like that.
Zilla Fatu versus Lexis King
Zilla meets all of BirthRight on the floor. He punches King and King bumbles into everyone. Zilla rams him into the apron and chops him across the chest after ripping his vest off. He stares down the rest of BirthRight. Zilla dives off the top rope onto everyone on the floor.
Grace distracts the official as Zilla attempts to renter the ring. King kicks the ropes into Zilla’s “lower abdomen”. An amazing drop kick through the ropes by King has Zilla flying backwards on the floor. King whips Zilla into the ringside barricade.
Stacks and Uriah Connors leap up on the apron. Zilla knocks Uriah off the apron and Stacks gets pulled over the top rope and into the ring. Stacks is then clotheslined over the top rope. Charlie is dumped off the apron next. A Triple Z pins King.
As soon as the match is over Stacks, Dempsey and Uriah rush into the ring kicking the hell out of Zilla. King brings a steel chair into the ring but Dempsey rips it right out of his hands. He hits Zilla in the stomach with it and over the back. Dempsey throws Zilla into the steel ring steps. Dempsey slams the stairs down on Zilla’s hand, arm.
Winner: Zilla Fatu
NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan is interviewed by Emily Agard. Jordan says it is one thing that Reina Volcan attacked her from behind but it is another to outlast 19 other women in a battle royal. Chantel Monroe is out claiming she deserves to win and so does Layla Diggs. Jordan wishes them luck.
Osiris Griffin fires back at Cruz Montana. He says he probably pumped his body full of toxins his own mom was selling. Griffin says he is a machine that doesn’t run out of gas. His parents unlike Montana’s steered him on the right path.
“You think you had it hard? Making the right decision every day is hard. Living up to expectations is hard because if I slip up I am not just failing myself I am disappointing my family,” he says.
Montana is backstage with Rain. He cheers her on. He knows she can win tonight. Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside arrives with a message for Montana. She cannot believe how much he has changed. She shakes her head at him and walks away.
Hank and Tank versus Shida Ash and Viktor Zanov – Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Class – Round One
Ash gets caught in a Bossman Slam. He gets splattered in the ropes and put away by Hank, Tank’s double team finisher.
Winners: Hank and Tank
NXT Champion Grayson Waller is smiling and walking backstage with a microphone but we cut to…Birthright attacking Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux with steel pipes.
Waller hits the ring. He gives Prosper props for the fight he gave him last week.
“Who is going to step up next?” Waller asks.
Out comes Myles Borne to a lot of boos. He is done doing what is expected of him and he is going after the title he hasn’t held yet. This is the kind of fire Waller wanted the locker room to display. Tony D’Angelo comes out. He isn’t done with Waller just yet. Waller tells them to figure it out who his next challenger is. Borne slugs Tony in the face.
William Regal approaches EK Prosper backstage. Regal congratulates Prosper for exhibiting such fighting spirit last week. Regal thinks Prosper has world champion written all over him.
“Don’t ever look down on yourself. Keep fighting!” says Regal shaking Prosper’s hand.
GM Stone stops by. He needs to talk to Regal about BirthRight. Regal doesn’t understand why Lexis and Dempsey were never in the tournament. Stone is convinced to put them in.
Shiloh Hill versus Naraku
Naraku spits his mist but Hill ducks. It goes into the official’s face. He calls for the bell. Naraku and Hill battle out of the ting and up the entrance way.
Winner: Shiloh Hill via disqualification?
Kendal Grey is still talking with the shrink. She yacks about herself being her biggest opponent and the sessions end.
BirthRight (Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King) versus – The Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento and Takuma) – Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Class – Round One
Dempsey wins with a double-underhook suplex from the top rope and Gotch-Style Suplex.
Dempsey warns everyone not to step up to BirthRight.
Winners: BirthRight (Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King)
Borne is backstage bragging about how he took out Tony to…himself.
