There are two more entrants in the G1 Climax tournament.
Aaron Wolf and Yoshi-Hashi battled for a spot at NJPW Road to G1 Climax as did Yuto-Ice and Taichi.
In his match against Yoshi-Hashi it was the first ever singles match Aaron Wolf wrestled anyone besides a member of The House of Torture in his entire career, as short as it has been. Wolf goes for the triangle submission hold early on. Hashi escapes to the ropes though. Hashi slides out of the ring behind Wolf, trips him up and wraps his leg around a steel post. Wolf falls out of the ring to the floor. Hashi wraps Wolf’s leg in a ringside barrier and kicks the crap out of it. Hashi works over the leg and knee once back into the ring.
A figure four has Wolf reaching for the ropes. Wolf guts through charging with a lariat, a clothesline and an elbow drop in which he is favouring the knee. Eventually, Hashi goes for a suplex but Wolf blocks it with a judo throw and a triangle submission for the win.
Fans seemed to be behind Yuto-Ice in his match with Taichi. They traded shots in the middle of the ring to start things off. They enter into a duel of leg kicks next. Taichi takes a leg kick to the back and stands back up. They then trade kicks to the head. Ice stomps Taichi in a corner. The fight goes to the floor where Ice is smashed into the ringside barricade. They fight up into the crowd. Ice kicks Taichi and rolls, tumbles down the stairs.
On the way back to the ring, Ice throws Taichi into a steel post. Taichi takes a ton of forearm shots to the face and one punch takes Ice down. Ice picks up Taichi and runs him into a corner. He kicks Taichi in the head for a single KOB. Taichi kicks out. Ice head butts Taichi down to the mat. He follows up with a forearm to the face. Ice hits the Cruella kick for the win.

In a No. 1 Contender’s Match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship held by Yoh, it was Francesco Akira versus Master Wato versus Kosei Fujita versus Sho. Yoh himself was on commentary. Akira ducked Wato’s clothesline and he hits Fujita instead. A staggering Wato catches Akira with a clothesline. Wato has Akira pinned with his German suplex finisher but Sho pulls the official out of the ring. Douki and Sho attack the others.
Yoh leaves the commentary position but Sho hits him in the head with that steel mirror. Fujita stops Sho from clocking Wato in the head with the mirror. Takes it and smashes Sho with it instead. Fujita then hits Wato himself and then Douki too. Fujita tries to hit Akira with it as well. Akira punches him in the “lower abdomen”. Akira smashes Fujita in the head with the mirror rolling him out of the ring. Akira fetches the referee on the floor rolling him back into the ring. Wato kicks out of a fireball knee smash but is pinned by Akira’s Crown Fall finisher. Akira will not challenge Yoh for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship on July 6th.
After the match, Yoh struggles to get to his feet. As he is humorously held up by a Young Lion with an ice pack on his head, Yoh congratulates Akira and welcomes his challenge. Yoh says he will crush Akira.
This infuriates Akira who attacks the Young Lion and Yoh. Akira hits Yoh in the head with the title belt.
