There is Total Nonstop Action on this TNA Wrestling, as the main event will feature a dog collar match between TNA Knockouts Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna. This will be the first match of its kind in two years for the two TNA Knockouts, and it begs the question… who will come out unscathed?
Plus, current TNA champion Frankie Kazarian gives a King’s Speech, and we will see who will be in line for a shot at the X-Division title in six-way action.
The show opens with a recap of what happened and how we got to Kazarian becoming the new TNA Heavyweight champion.
Without further ado, from the El Paso Coliseum in El Paso, TXTom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt have the call, as the show opens with Frankie Kazarian and he enters the ring to give the King’s Speech…so here’s what he said:
“I need my amigos to help me out, and I need you to tell all these ‘puercas’ in the building to please keep the squealing to a minimum, because I’ve got a lot to say.
Now, at Final Resolution, not only did I defeat JDC. I sent him packing and retained the TNA World Championship. So what that means is I’m right where I belong, and that is on top, leading this company into the next era, leading TNA wrestling into the era of AMC.
You know what? While we’re on that topic, if I beg your pardon for a second, I’m going to need to ask Walter White to step aside. I’m going to need him to take a hike, and I need Rick Grimes to hit the bricks, because starting this year, there’s a new face of AMC, and his name is Frankie Kazarian.
All right. I hear you. I know a lot of you are very angry that I’m the TNA World Champion. I read your stupid social media posts. I heard your lame attempt at insults, but know this: your anger is my happiness. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing a room full of salty, angry marks. So please keep it up.
You can be as angry as you want, but at the end of the day, each and every one of you would sell your own dirty mother to be in the position that I’m in. I am your king. I am the TNA World Champion, and I’m going to be for a very long time. So I suggest you all get used to it.”
Harsh words until the lights go out, and Mike Santana appears in the crowd, and he rebukes Kazarian. He says if it weren’t for the “pendejos” of Team NXT interfering, he’d still be champ. But after the steel cage match, he lets Kazarian know he will once again reclaim the title, and it’s “coming back to Papi!”

With that, your First Match of the Night is…

Matt Cardona vs. Lexis King
This match is to determine who gets the advantage in the Steel Cage Match with TEAM TNA and Team NXT.
Cardona shows right away he is Alwayz Ready on King, knocking him out of the ring. He pulls him back, but King hyperextends his arm and spends the better part of the match targeting the bad wing. For most of the match, King toys with him and keeps him down on the mat until Cardona pops out with a clothesline. A Reverb later, and Cardona gets a second wind despite the injured arm. King grabs his cane as an equalizer.

As the ref deals with that, Stacks tries to interfere, and he eats Radio Silence. King then uses that moment to roll him up to steal the win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Alexis King
Afterwards, Stacks and King work over Cardona, even using the cane to damage his arm. Steve Maclin runs from the outside to clear the squared circle, but things don’t look good as Cardona is less than Ready.
TNA Knockouts champion Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside cut a promo on what makes them stronger. Everything is cool until Mr. Stone, Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford, and Mila Moore. Blanchard makes it clear she wants the belt, but hasn’t decided when, and you can tell this is far from settled.
At #TNAFinalResolution, @TheLeiYingLee retained the Knockouts World Championship after a battle with her fellow Angel Warrior @XiaBrookside. BUT @MrStoneWWE, @T3SSABLANCHARD, @VIX_CROWN and @itsmilamoore are FAR from impressed!

We get your TNA Injury Report, and while Mustafa Ali and JDC are hurt and questionable, Cardona is declared out due to a shoulder injury.
There are also plugs for Saturday Night’s Main Event between Je’von Evans and Leon Slater, facing AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
Huh. I wonder if anything else big is happening that night?
Nah, it’s probably just that, right?
Right?!

But let’s get back to the ring, and it is a Six-Way Scramble between…

Jake Something vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. Dezmond Xavier vs. BDE vs. Jason Hotch
This is to determine who will be the number one contender for the TNA X Division Title, and this match goes everywhere, since it’s all about no limits. At one point, Alexander and Xavier take out Something and then duke it out. Hotch gives kicks to both men, while Alexander dives to Something on the outside.
Nemeth makes his first appearance in the ring against BDE and spikes him with a DDT for a count of two.

Your Winner, and New Number One contender for the TNA X-Division Championship: Cedric Alexander
Team TNA talks about whether the new tag team they’re gonna face will trust The System. Before they head off, JDC pulls Edwards aside and lets him know that at the GENESIS PPV, they’re gonna bring it.

(What?)
No, he’s on second. Who’s on First.
(When can Boris recap again?)
Ask when who’s playing third, and Who and What will help ya out.
*thenkyew, I’m here one time only. Tip the waitstaff and order the nachos!*
Anyway, we have a tag match with….
Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards vs. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus and Travis Williams)
Members of The System, led by Myers and Edwards, head to the ring and are ready for a fight.
Edwards and Icarus start, and get shown how tag action works with him and Myers. A tag to Williams and between him and Icarus, they are no slouch. They grind Myers down until he nails a desperation Michinoku Driver on Icarus. Edwards tags back in, and he gives a Deep impact to Williams, and Icarus breaks the count. Sinner and Saint combine for a double body drop on Edwards, but they get a two count. Myers takes Icarus out, and The System with a pounce and a Roster Cut/Boston Knee Party takes them out.

They give props to Sinner and Saint afterward, so I guess they made the cut.
Props for the upcoming GENESIS PPV, then we get the GOATs of TNA Wrestling, Matt and Jeff Hardy. They love that they are back in the El Paso Coliseum, and they want an end to the TNA vs. NXT war.
After a tick, some eerie swamp boogie plays in the building as The Righteous enter. They get some epic heat (like Dirty Dom-level) from the El Paso crowd. Vincent wears a Hardy Boys pendant as he and Dutch sing their praises, and they wanna wish them luck in their cage match next week. Jeff and Matt are skeptical, until Vincent and Dutch remind them they are Righteous and they are many.

Now for your Main Event, and it is a…
Dog Collar Match: Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell
Once the ref attaches the collar to Hartwell, Luna pulls her down and tries to exploit the situation. Hartwell is no pushover, as she finally hooks up the collar, and the match is underway. Both women go for broke in the first Knockouts dog collar match in two years, according to Haffigan. Luna is methodical in her brutality and uses the top rope to choke Hartwell. This ain’t her first rodeo, as she uses the ropes and the chain to give Luna whiplash, which leads to…
Ads (If this is your first time reading these recaps, know that I hate ads in the middle of a match. Before or after makes no difference, but my Gods just don’t do it in the middle of the action. I ask so little.)
We come back, and they are still going at it with Luna using the chain to her advantage, wrapping it around Hartwell before giving her a stomp. She even whips her with the chain to the midsection, but Hartwell gives her a taste of her own medicine, pulling Luna to the ring post. Luna is displaying the start of a crimson mask as she gets waylaid.

They battle up top, and while Luna succeeds in tripping her up, Hartwell manages to land with an avalanche spinebuster for a two count. Luna is bloody and mad and goes under the ring and grabs some powder, but Hartwell sends her off balance. She gets pushed into the ref, who is knocked out. Using the distraction the Luna Landing is delivered and the ref comes to in order to count the one, two, and three.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Dani Luna
She is bloodied and battered, but Luna stands unbroken to the TNA faithful as the show comes to a close.
