Greetings and Salutations! After the AMC debut, which brought mixed reactions, we are right on the first PPV of the year as TNA presents their Genesis card. I am interested to see what comes of tonight as it feels this show came out of nowhere and TNA in general has been on cruise control since Bound for Glory. So without further ado. let’s get to the show.
TNA Genesis 2026 Results – January 17, 2026
Live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas
TNA Wrestling kicked off 2026 with its first pay-per-view of the year as Genesis is live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas. The night featured championship clashes, shocking interference, emotional farewells, and a brutal Texas Death Match main event that defined the evening.
Countdown to Genesis
The action began on Countdown to Genesis, streaming live and free across TNA+ and TNA’s digital platforms.
TNA International Championship – Four-Way Match: Stacks (c) w/ Arianna Grace def. KJ Orso, Eric Young & BDE
Under orders from Santino Marella, Stacks was forced to defend the TNA International Championship in a chaotic four-way match against Eric Young, BDE, and the returning KJ Orso. Orso controlled much of the early action, while Arianna Grace and Stacks gloated at ringside as heels would. BDE wiped them out with a dive to the floor.
The match broke down with signature moments from all four competitors: BDE’s Knee of Glory, Orso’s springboard moonsault, and Young’s devastating piledriver. In the end, Young spiked Orso with the piledriver, but Stacks capitalized, stealing the pinfall to retain his title.
Winner: AND STILL TNA International champion; Stacks
Backstage, newly appointed Director of Operations Daria Rae criticized Santino Marella for attempting to “punish” Stacks. Shortly after, Gia Miller announced another match had been added to the Countdown following a heated backstage confrontation.
Tessa Blanchard & Mila Moore vs. Indi Hartwell & Vicious Vicki
With The Elegance Brand watching from ringside, Blanchard and Moore isolated Vicious Vicki early. Indi Hartwell shifted the momentum with a Spinebuster and a flurry of offense, but outside distractions from Robert Stone and Victoria Crawford proved decisive. As Hartwell argued at ringside, Blanchard put Vicki away with the Buzzsaw to secure the victory.

Former First class buds collided as AJ Francis attacked Rich Swann before the opening bell. Swann rallied with his trademark aerial offense, including a 450 Splash and a Destroyer counter, but Francis’ power ultimately got him the win. After surviving multiple near falls, Francis ended the match with the Down Payment.
Winner: AJ Francis
Mustafa Ali vs. Elijah
Competing in his first singles match in six months, Elijah faced the leader of Order 4. Despite fending off early interference, Ali capitalized on chaos at ringside. After Order 4 was ejected, Tasha Steelz returned to distract Elijah, allowing Ali to smash a guitar across his back and score the pinfall.

Ryan Nemeth vs. Mara Sadè
Mara Sadè looked to make an example of Nemeth, but “The Hollywood Hunk” did what any smart heel would do and that is cheat. He managed to steal the win with a handful of jeans and his feet on the ropes to give him the momentum.

Answering Lee’s open challenge, NXT’s Zaria showcased her power early, even locking in a modified Texas Cloverleaf. Lee weathered the storm and fought back with precision strikes and suplexes. After chaos involving The Elegance Brand at ringside, Lee planted Zaria with Warrior’s Way to retain the Knockouts World Championship.

After chaos and pandemonium 2026, we saw all the finishers exchanged, but it was Jeff that connected with the Swanton Bomb to retain the titles.

Triple Threat Match: Joe Hendry vs. Cedric Alexander & Moose
Replacing Leon Slater, Joe Hendry returned to TNA against Moose and Cedric Alexander. After a brutal exchange that temporarily sidelined Moose as I legit thought he hurt himself, Alexander and Hendry battled until Moose re-entered the match. Near falls piled up, but Hendry sealed the victory with the Standing Ovation.

TNA World Championship – Texas Death Match: Mike Santana (c) vs. Frankie Kazarian
Special Guest Referee: Nic Nemeth
In a violent Texas Death Match, Santana and Kazarian fought throughout the arena, using chairs, tables, ladders, and barbed wire. Both men repeatedly beat the referee’s count, refusing to stay down. Santana wrapped his arm in barbed wire and delivered Spin the Block. Kazarian could not come back from that as the ref counted to 10. This gave Santana the win in a brutal match.
Winner: AND STILL TNA Champion; Mike Santana
After the match, Nic Nemeth attempted to assert himself, but Santana took him down with Spin the Block. Santana celebrated as the show went off the air.
