Poor Mistico. He is really missing his original Super Junior Tag League partner El Desperado who has been sidelined with spinal canal stenosis and a hernia. Tagged up with a Young Lion, Mistico is doing the best he can with the cards he has been dealt but so far they have only won one match.
Tonight, they face the House of Torture’s DOUKI and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
It is no surprise that the House jumpstarts the match. Douki throws Young Lion Yusuda into a steel post. Mistico cannot even get to the ring before Kanemaru attacks him with a steel chair. Kanemaru puts a steel chair over Mistico’s knee and hits that with another chair over and over.
With Mistico still laying in the aisleway holding his injured knee and still in his entrance robe, Red Shoes rings the bell once Yasuda enters the ring. What the hell?!?!? Is Red Shoes on the House’s payroll too? What’s up with that?
Even Walker Stewart says: “I cannot believe the Red Shoes sounded the bell.”
Yasuda manages to drop kick Kanemaru and Douki as they try to double-team him. Douki trips up Yasuda dragging him from the ring to the floor. Douki slams Yasuda’s back into a steel post and slams him on the floor.
As Mistico tries to make it to the ring, Kanemaru cuts him off. He stomps on his knee. Douki suplexes Yasuda on the floor. Kanemaru slams Mistico’s knee into the floor. Back in the ring, Douki removes one of the turnbuckle pads.
Red Shoes starts counting both Yasuda and Mistico out. Kanemaru drags Yasuda back into the ring. Kanemaru whips Yasuda’s back into the exposed turnbuckle. Mistico gets on the apron but Douki drop kicks him off. Douki suplexes Yasuda on his back in the ring.
Douki grabs Yasuda and charges him back-first into the exposed buckle once again. Kanemaru slams Yasuda on the floor twice.
Yasuda continues wrestling the match alone with the House working over his back. He barely escapes a Boston Crab. Mistico limps to the ring and gets up on the apron. Douki races over nailing Mistico with an elbow and knocking him down. Yasuda delivers the Three Amigos to Douki for a two count.
Yasuda has Douki in the middle of the ring with a Boston Crab. Kanemaru comes in kicking Yasuda but he won’t let go. Yasuda finally does but it is to forearm shot Kanemaru. Kanemaru bounces off the ropes. Mistico kicks him in the back. Double arm drags to the House by Mistico as well as Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreakers. Yasuda hits Douki with a drop kick out of the corner.
As Yasuda has Douki in a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring, Kanemaru spits whiskey in his eyes. Douki puts Yasuda in the Darkness Stretch but Mistico makes the save. Kanemaru puts Mistico in a figure four. Douki pins Yasuda with Suplex De La Luna.
In some extra curicular activities, Douki smashes Mistico’s knee with his steel pipe. Yasuda and Mistico are dumped to the floor.
The NJPW SUPER Jr. TAG LEAGUE 2026 runs from October 24 to November 3, 2026. Each time will only wrestle five times in the tournament.
