The Queen and King of the Ring tournaments continue on as we head back to Italy for Smackdown as the WWE continues its European tour.
We get another replay, the same replay of Clash in Italy from LAST Saturday, almost a week ago. I think people know what happened by now WWE. Why are we wasting time with this? Ugh.
Smackdown 6/5/26 Results
A bunch of superstars are arriving.
Gunther arrives and he is pissed off. He rips apart the announce tables. He starts throwing chairs everywhere. He stand on one of the announce tables.
“Nothing happens tonight until I get what I want!” he yells.
Gunther demands justice for what happened at Clash in Italy. He intentionally put his foot under the ropes.
“That means Cody didn’t beat me. He cheated!” he rants. “The Golden Boy continues kissing everyone’s butt around here!”.
All of sudden:
Adrenaline in my soul
Every fight out of control
Do it all to get them off their feet
Crowd is here, about to blow
Waitin’ for me to start the show
Cody heads to the ring. He even stops to sign some Funko figures as he walks there. He signals that it is so loud he cannot hear.
“What are you so angry about?” he yells across the arena as his music plays on.
“I cannot believe I am going to say this but you are right,” begins Cody
Cody Rhodes. Cody. Cody Rhodes.
Cody wonders why Gunther is so “big mad” though. Has he not ever been involved in a controversial finish before?
“Sometimes you are the hero and you save all the little piggies from the cold-blood sausage maker and sometimes you are the cold-blood sausage maker. The difference is I know which one I am,” says Cody.
Cody accepts Gunther’s challenge. He wants a rematch tonight!
We hear:

They cheer Zayn’s theme in Italy. Zayn thanks his “ride or die” fans in Italy. He appreciates the respect.
Sami! Sami! Sami!
Zayn has had world title opportunities ripped away from him all the time. He calls Cody a “Golden Boy” ready to fight. He claims both of them did him wrong. Gunther tells him to shut up and to get out of the ring. Cody doesn’t know which Sami he is getting right now.
“I am a little busy right now,” says Cody.
Zayn says Cody has been blowing him off for months. He is the biggest threat to his championship. Zayn reminds Cody that he said when he was done with Gunther he was going to teach him a lesson.
“Okay, when are you going to teach me that lesson?” asks Sami.
Gunther rushes the ring. He shoves Cody into Zayn. He puts the sleeper on Cody. Zayn attacks Gunther. Gunther throws Zayn out of the ring. Cody takes Gunther down. He pounds away on him. Gunther turns things around pounding on Cody. Zayn pulls Gunther out of the ring. Cody dives. Gunther pushes Zayn in Cody’s way. Gunther leaves laughing. Cody offers to help Zayn up. Zayn blows him off.
The Miz is backstage chatting to Kit Wilson on the phone. He finds Danhausen’s lab. He goes to peek to see what is under the cover on the operating table. Danhausen tells Miz to leave things alone.
“You don’t like people coming into your house uninvited, do you?” asks Miz.
Miz starts smashing Danhausen’s things, kicking stuff over. Danhausen warns Miz not to touch one thing…and he gets electrified.
WAH. WAH. WAH.
Gunther catches up to GM Nick Aldis outside the arena. Gunther is angry he is disrespected since he arrived on Smackdown. “You fix this or I will call my legal team and you will have so many lawsuits your grandchildren will need lawyers,” growls Gunther.
Raquel Rodriguez versus Bayley versus Jacy Jayne versus Kiana James – Queen Of the Ring First Round, Fatal Four-Way Match
Too much action to call. Giulia stays at ringside while all the other extraneous people leave. Interesting that. The fans are solidly behind Bayley. Raquel is beat the snot out of and dumped on the floor early on. The women, mostly Bayley, whip Raquel into the ringside steps so she is absent for a lot of the match.
When Raquel does enter the match again her shoulder tackle sends Jayne out of the ring. Raquel splashes Bayley and James for a two count. Raquel powerbombs Bayley into Jayne. She chokeslams Bayley and Jayne. James breaks up the pin.
Bayley clocks Jayne with a running knee on the apron. She gives her a flying elbow from the top rope. James breaks that pin up. Bayley kicks out of the Deal Breaker.
Bayley knocks Jayne to the floor. James tries to use the ropes as leverage to pin Bayley. Jayne knocks James’ feet off the ropes. Giulia shoves Jayne down.
James starts yelling at Giulia. She thinks she pushed he feet off the ropes. Giulia points to Jayne. Bayley with the Rose Plant on James. Rolling Elbow from Jayne on Bayley. Big Boot from Raquel on Jayne. Raquel pins James with her powerbomb.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
Giulia attempts to help James up. James shoves her away.
“Get off of me! This is your fault!” she screams at Giulia. James says they are done. Giulia tries to explain again. James shoves her again.
“It is never about me! It is always about you! We are done!” yells James from across the ring.
Giulia! Giulia! Giulia!
Giulia leaps on James and punches her, kicks her.
Zayn is throwing a tantrum backstage. He corners Johnny Gargano who is laying in a coma again. So stupid. Zayn rants on about doing the right thing. Zayn demands a meeting with Aldis but Chad Gable is there. The crowd cheers Gable. Aldis invites Gable into his office.
Tala Tonga versus Royce Keys
Both men exchange punches. Tala drives Keys to his knees with a haymaker. A running clothesline sends Tala over the top rope and to the floor. Tala slams Keys on the announce table. Solo sits on a chair laughing at Keys. Tala slams Keys spine-first into the steel post. Back in the ring, Tala stomps on Key’s spine and drops some axe handles as well. A sidewalk slam has Key reeling.
Keys attempts to fight back from his knees but is driven back down. Tala puts a nerve lock on Keys. Tala misses a big foot, getting caught up in a corner. Key lays in some shots.
Keys clotheslines Tala again and again. He tries to slam him but he cannot pick him up. Keys splashes Tala in a corner. A running shoulder tackle takes Tala off his feet. Keys powerslams Tala. Solo gets on the apron. Keys clocks him. Tama Tonga arrives grabbing at Keys from the floor. Keys goes to the floor. Tama leaps off the stairs only to get punched in the face. Tala hits the big foot and the chokeslam.
Winner: Tala Tonga
Solo stands over Keys laughing. Tama and Tala attack Keys. R-Truth rushes to the ring. The numbers game is too much though. Priest arrives and he pulls Truth away. He says this isn’t any of his business. The beating on Keys continues. Solo tells Keys that things didn’t have to be like this. He should join the MFT.
The J-Day without Roxanne Perez celebrates Raquel’s big win. Liv said the perfect ending would be if both she and Raquel met in the finals. Liv says Roxy is still sulking. Liv tells Dominik she and him would make the perfect King and Queen. That remark ticks Raquel off.
“Let’s just focus on Dominik winning tonight!” says Liv.
Raquel looks off into the distance as she puts her sunglasses on.
A promo airs for Finn Balor.
Damian Priest reads Truth the riot act backstage. He doesn’t understand why Truth keeps saving Keys when Key said he wants to go it alone in WWE.
“You are all that matters right now. So, Royce Keys? I don’t know his deal with Solo or anything. I don’t trust the guy,” says Priest as he walks away.
The War Raiders, the new AAA Tag Team Champions, challenge Truth…whenever he is ready.

Out comes the WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley. Ripley’s leg is wrapped up and she is limping. Rhea mocks Jade for failing in her big plan to take her out at Clash in Italy. Her numbers game went nowhere because of Charlotte Flair.
All Hail the Queen
Here comes Charlotte. She goes over all of her achievements before getting into the ring.
“At SummerSlam it is going to be me standing in front of you,” says Charlotte.
It’s Tiffy Time!
Tiffy is shocked that Rhea and Charlotte aren’t beating the hell out of each other. Tiffany wants a shot at Charlotte too.
A storm, haha, is coming.
“You three look so stupid together,” laughs Jade. Jade tells Charlotte she is next in line. Tiffany shouldn’t be in “grown folks” business.
“I am coming after what’s mine!” says Jade as she heads ot the ring with B-Fab and Michin in tow.
Aldis interrupts. Charlotte has an idea: Jade and one of her “back-up dancers” against Charlotte and Tiffany. Aldis makes the match.
Amazing that those who need to wrestle are in their gear already. Imagine that.
Jade and Michin versus Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton
B-Fab distracts Stratton. Stratton counters Jaded with a roll-up. Stratton climbs to the top rope. Jade crotches her and then Jaded for the 1,2,3.
Winners: Jade and Michin
Fatal Influence is backstage with Jayne complaining about not advancing in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Cathy Kelly stops them.
“This is NOT a good time, Cathy! Read the room!” shouts Jacy.
Jacy claims to be on a different level than the other women. She walks up to the Women’s Tag Team Champions in Brie Bella and Paige who are in the middle of a photo shoot. They mock Jacy for her loss. Fatal Influence attacks Brie and Paige, leaves them laying.
Truth meets with a banged up Keys. Key tells Truth he appreciates everything he has done for him and will return the favour one day. Truth thinks Damian Priest will warm up to Keys sooner or later. Truth thinks they should team up to take out MFT. Keys doesn’t think that will happen since Priest clearly has something against him. Keys isn’t afraid to face Priest though. Keys walks away.
Carmelo Hayes versus Ricky Saints
Saints attacks Hayes before the bell even rings. The official wins the bell even though Hayes hasn’t even removed his jacket. Hayes splashes Saints on the floor. Hayes hits his frog splash for a two count. Saints bails to the floor.
Hayes clotheslines Saints over the top rope to the floor. Saints takes over back in the ring with haymakers and a bulldog for two.
Saints catches Hayes in a Northern Lights Suplex but Hayes gives him a jumping DDT.
Revolution DDT on Hayes for a two count. Saints kicks out First 48. Saints pushes Hayes off the top rope as he attempts Nothing But Net then throws him over the barricade. Hayes dives back into action but Saints kicks him in the mouth. Hayes barely beats the count to get back into the ring.
Saints argues with the official about the count. Hayes rolls up Saints for a two count. Saints and Hayes trade roll-ups. Saints holds onto Hayes’ tights for the win.
Winner: Ricky Saints
The United States Champion Trick Williams is interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Trick laughs at Saints and Hayes calling them Siamese Twins.
“Keep fighting you peasants because Trick Williams is the king!” he says.
“Wouldn’t it look good? Trick Williams, the man with two chains, two lemon pepper steppers and two titles on his shoulders! Let’s talk about it,” says Trick.
Bron Breakker gets in Trick’s face. They stare each other down.
Tiffany Statton is wandering around the arena in her ring gear and holding her side. Chelsea Green wonders why Tiffany didn’t tell her she was going out there. Chelsea would have been there for her. Tiffany says she didn’t need Chelsea.
“You didn’t want me out there so I wouldn’t get injured. That’s why I love you!” says Chelsea.
Chelsea wonders if Tiffany will be out there to support her now. Tiffany can’t. She has to go to the trainer’s room. She wishes Chelsea good luck. Chelsea looks hurt.
Chelsea Green versus Lash Legend
This match is big time awful. Lots of timing issues.
Big kick to the face. Chelsea barely kicks out. Lash misses a splash. Chelsea hits a series of clotheslines then she drops kicks Nia on the floor.
Chelsea pulls down the ropes and Lash isn’t even charging her yet. Seeing the ropes pulled down Lash then charges and goes over them. Makes no sense.
Chelsea leaps on and takes out both Lash and Nia. Missile Drop kick from Chelsea. Lash kicks out. Lash fights the Unprettier. Lash Extension. The End.
Winner: Lash Legend
Solo meets with Keys backstage. Keys is fuming. Solo wants to know why Keys is being so difficult. Did he not see how Roman made Jacob kneel down like a dog on Raw? Solo tells Keys he has nobody to watch his back.
“Fatu is gone. Damian doesn’t want anything to do with you. So by the looks of it, I am the only family you’ve got left,” surmises Solo.
Solo asks Keys has anyone called him up? Does anyone have his back? Solo points to his MFT being champions and being in the main event picture because of him.
“It is because they follow and listen to me,” says Solo. He says this side needs to get ready for war.
“Quit being difficult or I will make this difficult,” warns Solo.
Backstage, we see the new AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix chatting with Fraxiom. He says if either of them want a shot at his title, they just have to ask. It is a done deal. Chad Gable tells Fenix they had an awesome WrestleMania match but he did it under false pretenses. He admits to mocking lucha culture but he has learned a lot from it and luchadores too.
“I flew to Italy tonight to look you in the eye and say that I am sorry,” says Chad asking for forgiveness.
“I forgive you but remember I am not the only one you offended,” says Fenix.
Chad is left in thought.
Aldis meets up with Rhodes. He just spoke with Gunther’s lawyers. They will agree to a rematch but they have one condition. Gunther will reveal that next week on Smackdown. Rhodes wants to do the title match in Kansas City no matter what the stipulation is.
Damian Priest versus Dominik Mysterio versus Trick Williams versus Bron Breakker- King Of the Ring First Round, Fatal Four-Way Match
Too much action to call. The winner gets to face Oba Femi.
A lot of botches here too. What is wrong with WWE? Why so many mistakes in the ring lately? Looking like amateur hour out there.
Some reward. Bron attacks Trick right at the bell suplexing him. Dominik leaves the ring. Priest and Bron throw hands. Bron suplexes Priest and Trick again. He then punches Dom off the apron. Bron clotheslines Priest down. Dom takes a shoulder tackle on the floor from Bron.
Dom and Priest team up on Bron for a bit super kicking him out of the ring. They then turn quickly on each other.
Priest spikes Dom with Razor’s Edge. Liv jumps on the apron. Bron picks up Priest, cannot hold him and drops him to the mat. Bron almost drops Trick too when he Bossman Slams him. Dom drop kicks Bron into the 619 position. Priest punches Dom in the mouth.
Bron slips and he still spears Priest. Trick Shot to Bron. Trick goes to cover Priest but Dom pulls the official out of the ring.
Bron clotheslines Trick over the top rope to the floor. Born leaps off the apron to clothesline Trick through the table.
Priest hoists up Dom for South of Heaven. Liv punches Priest in the “lower abdomen”. Drop kick sends Priest into the ropes. 619 and frog splash on Priest. Dom wins.
