WWE SmackDown Results – February 27, 2026
Live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY
SmackDown delivered a chaotic go-home show featuring a massive title change, a mystery attacker and the finalization of the Elimination Chamber field.
Chaos at the Hospital: Jey Uso Attacked
The show didn’t even make it to the ring before the first major “happening” occurred. The program opened with medical personnel loading Jey Uso into an ambulance. A panicked Jacob Fatu were seen shouting at General Manager Nick Aldis.
As the ambulance sped off, Cody Rhodes confronted Aldis demanding to know how this could happen. Trick Williams soon entered the frame callously remarking “better him than me,” which led to a verbal spat with Je’Von Evans.
Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre denied any involvement in the attack claiming he’s treated as “guilty until proven innocent” and that he simply wants to “shed the competition” tomorrow night.
Aldis ordered McIntyre to his office but Cody Rhodes had other plans, challenging the champion to fight right then and there. McIntyre declined, calling it a poor business move. Randy Orton then made his entrance, expressing sympathy for Jey but focusing squarely on his goal of becoming a 15-time champion. Next out was Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans stoking the fire. The segment concluded in a wild melee after LA Knight arrived to stake his claim. Amidst the brawl, Randy Orton laid out Je’Von Evans with a sudden RKO, leaving Cody Rhodes standing alone and wary in the ring.
Uncle Howdy vs. Solo Sikoa
A psychological battle between Solo Sikoa and the enigmatic Uncle Howdy. Sikoa attempted to bully the smaller Howdy, but “The New Face of Fear” countered with eerie resilience. The turning point came when Solo missed a Samoan Spike, hitting the ring post instead. Howdy targeted Sikoa’s hand before sealing the victory with Sister Abigail. Post-match, Talla Tonga ambushed Howdy, stealing his signature lantern and retreating to the back.
Winner: Uncle Howdy
In the back, Nick Aldis tried to send Drew McIntyre home to avoid further trouble. As Drew left, Paul Heyman and The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) appeared. Heyman suggested that with Jey Uso out, Logan Paul was the perfect replacement for the Elimination Chamber. Aldis expressed suspicion over the timing of their arrival but Heyman insisted they were just there to help. Aldis agreed that there is a Chamber spot open and that Paul and Fatu could fight for the right to it later tonight.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Kairi Sane
Tiffany Stratton took to the ring after a backstage run-in with the Kabuki Warriors. Asuka claimed “Tiffy Time” was over, but rather than fighting herself, she sent Kairi Sane into the fray. The match was a back-and-forth highlight reel, featuring a DDT on the apron by Sane. However, the presence of Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre at ringside proved to be Sane’s undoing. In the confusion, Sane accidentally struck Green, allowing Tiffany to hit a Finlay Slam and the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
The Miz versus Oba Femi
In the ring, The Miz tried to avoid a match with the massive Oba Femi by offering to “mentor” him. Miz compared himself to the Undertaker, but Oba wasn’t buying the sales pitch. Oba hilariously trolled Miz before tossing him across the ring and finishing him with a sit-out powerbomb.
Winner: Oba Femi
Ilja tries to give Hayes a pep talk before the match. Hayes turns that down.
United States Championship: Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Matt Cardona
Carmelo Hayes issued an open challenge, which was answered by the “Indy God” Matt Cardona. The two veterans put on a clinic, with Cardona nearly winning after a Rough Ryder. However, Hayes countered an Unprettier attempt into his First 48 finisher to retain. After the match, the two showed mutual respect with a handshake.
Winner and STILL Champion: Carmelo Hayes
Backstage, the mystery crate is seen in the corridor, drawing the attention of various tag teams. R-Truth appeared, acting as a gatekeeper for the box, telling everyone they had to “watch tomorrow” to see the surprise inside. The group laughed as Candace LeRae wheeled her husband by on a crate. Kit Wilson calls everyone “toxic”.
Jordynne Grace versus Candice LeRae
A “catatonic” Johnny Gargano is at ringside. Candice was clearly distracted by her husband’s state. Late in the match, Johnny suddenly “came to,” sitting up and drearily walking toward the back. The sight caused Candice to lose focus, allowing Grace to hit a pump-handle suplex for the three-count.
Winner: Jordynne Grace
Raquel Rodriguez, B. Fab and Michin all want a piece of Jade Cargill. Jade tells them all to get in line. Sami asks Jacob for an update on Jey. Sami claims he wouldn’t do something like that to a friend. Sami expresses his suspicions about Jacob though.
Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley versus Nia Jax and Lash Legend
The co-main event saw Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The match was a brutal affair, specifically focusing on Rhea’s lower leg. Nia and Lash utilized their size advantage to ground the “Power Couple.” In a shocking finish, Lash Legend hit the Lash Extension on Rhea Ripley while Nia Jax held Iyo Sky at bay, crowning new champions on the eve of the Chamber.
Winners and NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Nia Jax & Lash Legend
Kiana James, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss discuss what just happened as Aldis tells Solo there will be a match next week to determine the next challengers for their titles.
Zelina Vega and Aleister Black chat with a confused Randy Orton backstage. Orton says the voices in his head are getting louder. Once he wins the Chamber he is coming after Black.
Main Event: Logan Paul vs. Jacob Fatu
The final spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber was decided in a chaotic qualifying match. Logan Paul, backed by Austin Theory and Paul Heyman, faced the ferocity of Jacob Fatu. The match saw a “Masked Man” attempt to interfere, who was unmasked by Logan. He was just “some guy” a random decoy it seems. The real game-changer was Drew McIntyre who slipped through the crowd once again and struck Fatu with the Undisputed Title belt. Logan Paul capitalized with a Frog Splash to secure the pinfall and his spot the Chamber.
Winner: Logan Paul
