Tiffany Stratton teamed up with Lash Legend and Jacy Jayne, of all people, to take out Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, and Sol Ruca in a Six-Woman Tag Team match. While Vice was delivering a double hip attack to Jayne and Legend, Perez tagged herself in, which resulted in a verbal spat. Unfortunately for them, Stratton took advantage with a back elbow.
Lash pulled the same thing Roxanne did and took care of her by swatting her away only to be driven down by Ruca. She nearly pinned Lash if Jacy hadn’t intervened. Roxanne came in and delivered a Pop-rocks on Jayne. A baseball drop kick from Tiffy soon followed. A striking spinning elbow from Lola cleared Tiffany. A pump kick from Legend to Vice stunned her. Ruca inadvertently performed the Sol-snatcher on her own teammate as Lash closed the match in her favour. Despite the win, Legend still assaulted Stratton.
Ahead of Money in the Bank this weekend, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn enter the ring. Punk called Owens by name, so naturally, he made an appearance. Kevin’s priority is to win that contract, but he also had a strong desire to prevent Punk from getting it. He’ll make sure of it, he reckoned.
Male ego was absolutely grotesque to witness… I rolled my eyes so many times, my optic nerves were crying for help. Well… Sami read these men like a book when he came to the conclusion that neither Punk, or Owens will be obtaining that briefcase because they’re not in the right headspace.
During a non-title Tag Team match, Tama Tonga found himself momentarily corned by Erik on the main floor. Talla Tonga came in to assist, yet it was thwarted by Erik’s incoming massive frame. Talla tried to remove Ivar from the top, however, that honour was left to his brother-in-arms to deliver a stunning neckbreaker. Due to Bakusai’s sudden presence, the MFTs temporarily spiralled. Haku had to whack Erik in the throat for a resemblance of stability. The Tongas perform the Brother’s Keeper for a triumph. The highlight of the evening was Bakusai making faces at everybody, including the War Raiders.
Chelsea Green was being interviewed and verbally impelled by Nikki Bella only for the focus to shift towards Michin, B-Fab, and Jade Cargill jumping Charlotte Flair backstage. Apparently, the Queen was scheduled for a Tag Team title match later. Elsewhere, Damian Priest got pissed that Axiom and Nathan Fraser were villainizing him, so he rammed them down. R-Truth got his say, too.
Ha! Ha! Cody Rhodes called Randy Orton a “sociopath, one-speed Michael Myers, walking forward, walking liability, human tramp stamp, waste of talent, fragile b*tch!” Ha! That’s all that matters. Aside from Finn Balor saving Danhausen from an ogre-type attack sanctioned by Gunther.
Since Flair was hurt earlier tonight, Alexa Bliss graciously took her place against Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. Paxley was a good mate to have since she managed to stop the cover done onto Bliss. Reid and Henley attempted some sneaky tricks, luckily, the official caught them, and Alexa delivered a Sister Abigail to Lainey on the main floor, while Paxley ended the match with the Cemetery Drive against Henley to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions with Alexa.
A match between Trick Williams and Bron Breakker turned into The Vision inserting themselves as a ruthless unit towards Penta, and Je’Von Evans as well. Even Lil Yatchy got decked. I won’t lie to you, I laughed.
