So, what do want to talk about? Cody Rhodes wants to thank Randy Orton for being a fantastic mentor, friend, brother and Superstar. What occurred last week when the Bloodline put Orton through a table after he offered to help Rhodes fend them off has got Cody very upset. Randy has been temporarily put back on the shelf.
Despite the fact that Solo Sikoa wants the Undisputed Championship around his waist, Rhodes believes he’s not ready. However, they have made this championship match official for SummerSlam. Yet the most bizarre thing happened and that’s the sudden appearance of A-Town Down Under. Austin Theory blames Rhodes for the attack he suffered last Friday at the hands of Jacob Fatu, when in reality, it was Grayson Waller’s selfishness that swollen his face.
And while they’re talking about taking accountability, Waller is uncapable of doing so and blames Rhodes for Orton’s misfortunes. Cody has heard enough, so he’s the one who starts swinging first, but he also gets pummeled quickly and thrown out of the ring. But lo and behold, American professional boxer, Terence Crawford, was in the crowd to offer Cody a chair as a weapon.
Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
Both men have been doing everything they can right of the gate to avoid being the other’s victim by swerving and ducking. That ends when Hayes attempts a cover on Andrade. He retaliates with a sudden kick to Carmelo’s face.
They’ve simply been trying to outdo each other, but Hayes gets the better of Andrade with a leg drop against his opponent’s throat, surprising Andrade. Carmelo ventures to apply a submission hold, yet Andrade manages to escape with multiple elbows to Hayes’ gut. A clothesline whiplashes Melo.
Andrade nearly pins Melo with double knees to his collarbone in the corner of the ring. Hayes answers with a face buster. What shocked Andrade was that despite the fact that he couldn’t body splash Melo the first time, he was able to deliver a Moonsault after Hayes rolled away thinking he was safe. That didn’t secure a victory.
Andrade tries again with The Message and gains the win after the amount of beatings he’s had to endure. But, we can give Hayes his flowers, too.

We’ve now entered interview time with WWE Women’s Champion Bayley and Queen of the Ring Nia Jax. While Corey Graves was trying to ask Nia a question about their upcoming match in Cleveland, Jax stopped him before he could finish. Instead, she asks Graves to look at Bayley, then look at her. The unevenness of their prowess is evident.
She wants Corey to feel bad for Bayley given she will be “put down like an old, sick dog.” Bayley makes a comeback that Jax didn’t hurt her back at SummerSlam 2017 the way she thought she did, no. Jax hurt Bayley because she’s big, clumsy and reckless. That ended the conversation.
Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green
Since both teams, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair plus Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, want to talk to Nick Aldis to get another Tag Team Championship match against the Unholy Union, but they couldn’t leave their egos elsewhere, so Belair decides to challenge Green.
Chelsea shows a little bravado by slapping Bianca right after the ringing of the bell, so Belair shoots back twice as hard given that sent Green into the turnbuckles. Chelsea tries to hold her own, but Bianca’s hellish German suplex whipped Green and stunned commentary.
Chelsea nearly steals a win when she rolled Bianca down for a cover, however, Belair switches the weight to pin Green. She was distressed after that. Ha! Anyway, the Unholy Union heard that Jade and Bianca were looking for an opportunity, which they don’t outright give. Alba and Isla say they’ll give them a chance to glimpse at their titles next week, though.

Next up, we have the contract signing for the US Championship match between LA Knight and Logan Paul. The only person who hasn’t signed that contract is Logan. The idiot, unfortunately, shows up. The only thing he should be doing is sign that contract and leave without saying anything, yet we all know I can’t have my wish granted.
The fool has a microphone. Logan actually thought he was going to get some genuine laughter from the audience when he called LA Knight a “hillbilly, Aladdin, Son of Anarchy, extra-looking, Larry the Lobster dude.” He looked around like he was expecting some laughter, rather than some embarrassment. Why did Triple H open the door to this asshole?
Every time Logan has shown his unlikeable face, LA Knight reminds him that he owned and cooked him well. Last year, he gave Paul a map and pointed out all the places he can stick his Prime drinks.
LA Knight has shown some desperation for that title, especially since it’s in the hands of Logan. The little dickhead believes that he doesn’t need this match, whilst Knight does. I asked myself, does he not want to put respect and prestige on that Championship? Apparently not, to answer my inquiry.
After so much word jumble being thrown around the ring, Logan finally signs the contract. Logan is one of the very few who’s actually struck a nerve in LA Knight because he told the Megastar that he has nothing of value he could take from him after he loses at SummerSlam. Logan draws LA Knight a map to where he can put his dreams.
That entire altercation seemed authentic for the first time with Logan on the screen. He tries to get the upper hand on LA Knight, but the Megastar turns things around. At least I got what I want.
Michin vs. Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany may have been the one who hit first, but Michin is the one continuously getting back up as she dropkicks Stratton into the corner. She follows that up with a Cannonball that only gets a one count. After that, Tiffy pretends to be frightened of Michin, so she runs behind Nia, who’s standing at ringside. While Michin is arguing with Jax, Stratton comes out from behind her friend and delivers an Alabama Slam on the main floor.
Stratton continues to drive Michin into the mat with an elevated slam, yet that wasn’t enough to pin her opponent. Michin reverses and nearly gets the win with a sunset flip. Despite how many times Michin continues to fight, her back is in a lot of pain every time she ploughs through Tiffy.
Stratton makes a comeback with a stomp to Michin’s chest that doesn’t award her the victory due to grit. Michin drop kicks Tiffany. The momentum was going in Michin’s favor until Nia grabbed her ankle while the referee was paying attention to Stratton on the outside. This allows Tiffy to rock Michin with a punch to the jaw.
She climbs to the top, so she could perform the Prettiest Moonsault. Regrettably for Stratton, she gets distracted by Bayley, who imitates her “Tiffy Time” gag. Bayley uses the briefcase to hit Nia with, then completely destroys it to pieces. Ha! Because of so much nonsense, Michin rolls Stratton to obtain a victory.
Winner: Michin
Earlier tonight, Cody Rhodes requested a Handicap match against A-Town Down Under for bothering to be here and passing blame. Solo Sikoa says he likes mystery, he wants to see who will be next to disrespect the Bloodline tonight if anyone teams with Rhodes, so he hopes for a Handicap match.
Starting next week, we’ll have a Tag Team Championship number one contender’s Gauntlet match involving: The Street Profits, Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Legado del Fantasma, Pretty Deadly, and the O.C. Before we get to Cleveland, LA Knight has a match with Santos Escobar. Stratton and Jax were left humiliated, so they face Michin and Bayley.
Cody Rhodes & ? vs. A-Town Down Under – Tag Team match
Kevin Owens comes out as Rhodes’ mystery partner. I guess that answers your question, Solo. Ha! Theory and Rhodes start this match. Soon after, Cody and Kevin play a double team on Austin.
Owens has Theory on the run, so he gives chase to drag him back inside the ring, but not before knocking that huge, plastic Prime bottle standing next to the commentary table. Waller runs over to put it back in place. Idiot.
A-Town Down Under regain focus and hammer down on Rhodes, some of them behind the official’s back. Once Owens is tagged back in, he brutalizes both men with ease. Cannonball to Waller squashes him flat. I think he became too overzealous with that Swanton since Grayson had his knees up. That changed the whole direction of winning.
Austin comes in and drop kicks Owens, then delivers a cheap shot to Rhodes on the apron. Waller drives an elbow into Owens’ chest for multiple near falls. Later on, Grayson squeezes the air out of Kevin’s lunges. He even ventures to suplex Owens from the top, which no one seems to be able to do. Kevin swats him off.
It took a lot out of Owens, but he finally manages to reach Cody, as he and Austin start brawling in the middle. It was going great for Rhodes, yet he doesn’t notice the tag Waller makes to Theory. Grayson swoops in and almost gets the win.
As A-Town Down Under attempt another double team, Cody had them scouted. Owens leaps back in to deliver a Stunner to Grayson, so he’ll get out of the way for Rhodes to perform a winning Crossroads to Theory.
The celebrations were cut very short when Solo’s music was playing. Rhodes gets the jump first by taking Sikoa and Tama out, while Kevin tears into Loa’s eyes. Just when they had the upper hand, Jacob Fatu makes them pay in blood. He saved Sikoa from being driven through the commentary desk. Fatu and Tama desecrated Owens. And it didn’t take long for Rhodes to follow suit…
This sheer display of inhumanity was worst than last Friday…
