With Survivor Series two weeks away, WWE Champion Randy Orton doesn’t have time to worry about his opponent, Universal Champion Roman Reigns as Drew McIntyre continues to stalk him, while the Fiend lurks in the shadows. The men’s Survivor Series team still needs to be filled out, while the women’s team is all set, if Lana can survive until then. Into the the ThunderDome!
Miz TV
Miz teases that anything can happen in the six man tag team match tonight, where he and Morrison will be teaming with Randy Orton. And by anything he means, cashing in the Money in the Bank contract. Miz then promotes his USA show, until he is cut off by Randy Orton.
The champ isn’t pleased that Miz thinks his realty show is more important than the tag team match. Orton knows Miz set this up because he has the case. Orton tells Miz if he wants the title, just take it. Miz claims that this is good for all of them. If they when Miz and Morrison could get a shot at the tag team titles.
Cue the New Day. Kofi and Xavier call Miz’s plans ridiculous and want to laugh at them in person. Orton drops Kofi with an RKO and Woods takes out Morrison. Drew McIntyre runs down and Orton is ready. The two throw hands in the middle of the ring, until Miz clocks Drew with the briefcase. Orton strikes with an RKO and the three leave McIntyre laying in the ring.
Another week, another Elias concert. Earlier in the week, Elias had a premonition that he would win his match tonight over Riddle and Jeff Hardy and go to Survivor Series. Elias actually thinks he can pull of a show tonight, but, alas, he is cut off by Jeff Hardy’s entrance.
Elias vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Riddle – Triple Threat Survivor Series Qualifying Match
Can we take a moment to discuss how dumb it is that they dropped Matt Riddle’s first name. Why does Vince hate first names? The self proclaimed captain of Team RAW watches in the back. Jeff Hardy hands out inverted atomic drops to his two opponents, but can’t get a pin on Elias. Hardy looks for the Twist of Fate, but Elias counter with Drift Away. Riddle breaks the pin. He wants to hit Hardy with Bro Derek, but Jeff counters. The two trade shots in the middle of the ring. Elias catches Hardy with a leaping knee strike, but Riddle is able to hit Elias with the Bro Derek and covers to get the win.

Backstage, AJ Styles is making a deal with Adam Pearce. He won’t tell Charly Caruso what that was about, but he is happy about Riddle being on the team. Sheamus isn’t pleased and will take care of him if he steps out of line. Styles tries to preach teamwork and wants a team meeting. Sheamus won’t recognize AJ as the team captain and neither does Braun Strowman.
Ali calls Ricochet a fool for believing that one man can change things, but they will accept him. Retribution will show him no mercy though.
24/7 Champion, Drew Gulak, wants to expand the Hurt Business by adding in his services. MVP regretfully informs him that they are not accepting applications. MVP is offended that Drew stepped to them wearing a clip on tie. The Hurt Business does what they do best and beat him down. R Truth sneaks in and makes the cover to win back the 24.7 title.

Lana vs. Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax
Lana almost turns around the ramp to back out of this match. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke join the announce team, saying they all need to get on the same page. Lana tries to jump Shayna at the sound of the bell. Baszler shrugs her off and beats her down in the middle of the ring. Shayna stomps on her elbow. Baszler with a pin after a knee strike, but she pulls Lana off the mat at two. She locks in the Kirifuda Clutch and Lana taps out.
Winner via submission: Shayna Baszler
After the match, Nia Jax clears off the announce table and Shayna feeds Lana to her. Mandy Rose and Dana stop the assault. Shayna and Nia are not pleased about that.
Backstage, Lana thanks Mandy and Dana for the help. Mandy wanted to send a message to Shayna and Nia and tells Lana to stay out of their way.
AJ Styles makes his way to call the team meeting. Styles admits that last week things got off to a rocky start, but it was because they were missing a piece and that piece was Riddle. Keith Lee recalls AJ taking a shot at him last week. Sheamus points out that Lee attacked him from behind. Strowman is ready to fight Sheamus and disputes Styles’ position of captain. Riddle tries to be the voice of the reason and he knows what they need to do. Everyone needs a sick code name. Sheamus isn’t happy with Fire Face. It’s not a ginger joke; Riddle swears.
AJ shoots down the nicknames and wants them to focus on Team Smackdown. Styles made a backup plan; Sheamus and Brawn Strowman will take on Riddle and Keith Lee with Styles as the special referee.
Riddle and Keith Lee vs. Sheamus and Brawn Strowman – AJ Styles special guest referee
Sheamus does not respect AJ as team captain or referee. Riddle hits a gut wrench suplex when Sheamus was arguing with him. Riddle accidently kicks AJ, twice. Strowman and Lee tag in and accidently squash Styles. That brings bodyguard Jordon into the ring, as we go to commercial.
After the break, Riddle takes an Irish Curse backbreaker. Strowman charges Riddle, who dodges and the Monster among men catches all ring post. Lee tags in, tosses Sheamus and Strowman across the ring. He picks up his partner Riddle and Spirit Bombs him onto Sheamus. Lee then clothesline Strowman and makes the pin. Brawn kicks out. Sheamus floats over Lee and catches him with a knee strike. He follows with a Brogue kick as Riddle makes a blind tag. Riddle with a German suplex. Strowman interferes allowing Sheamus to hit a clothesline. Strowman tags himself in to crush Riddle. Sheamus tag in and the two argue. Sheamus Brogue kicks Strowman off the apron; Riddle surprise Sheamus with a roll up and gets the pin.

Nikki Cross approaches Alexa Bliss in the back, but Bliss doesn’t remember their meeting last week. Bliss is having so much fun on the Firefly Funhouse. Nikki is worried about her relationship with the Fiend. Nikki blames herself for what has happened with Bliss and the Fiend and tries to apologize. She also wants Alexis to choose between her or him. Bliss chooses the Fiend.
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Titus O’Neil – United States Championship Match
Before the match, Charly Caruso breaks news that next week Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin will take on the New Day for the RAW Tag team titles.
MVP calls this a Survivor Series preview and the Hurt Business will taking on the Street Profits at Survivor Series.
Titus O’Neil calls out MVP for disrespecting him last week. MVP wants to give him the chance to walk away. Titus will do no such thing and calls out Lashley for not defending the US title. Lashley doesn’t respect him and gives him a shot.
MVP mocks Titus, but he still gets shots in on Lashley. Bobby fights out of the corner, only to get forced into another. Lashley ducks a clothesline, shoots off the ropes and spears Titus. Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock and Titus taps out.

Sheamus is still trying to recruit Drew McIntyre, who offers some advice; maybe don’t kick your partners off the apron. Sheamus also isn’t happy with Drew’s partners tonight, the New Day. Drew seems to like him. Sheamus keeps talking about the past.
Asuka vs. Nia Jax w/Shayna Baszler – Non Title Match
The rest of team RAW joins Nia at ringside. Nia took this match to show that she runs things around this place.
Asuka locks in a octopus stretch. Nia fights her way out, but Asuka transitions into an arm bar and then a triangle choke. Nia gets to the ropes and then drags Asuka to the apron and slams her into the security barrier.
After a commercial break, Asuka is still trying submission holds. Jax slams Asuka into the mat, but can’t get the pin. Asuka counters a powerbomb into a pin; Jax kicks out. Asuka follows with a spinning back fist and a hip attack. Jaz connects with the powerbomb and covers, but Asuka counters into an arm bar. Lana jumps to the apron and Baszler puts her in the Kirifuda clutch. Asuka breaks the hold, as Mandy and Dana jump to the apron. Asuka wipes them all out with a hip attack. Nia looks for the Samoan drop, but Asuka drops down and transitions into the Asuka Lock. Baszler jumps in and breaks the hold with a fist. The ref calls for the bell.
Winner via disqualification: Asuka
Mandy, Lana and Dana pulls Baszler off the Asuka, but get knocked out of the ring. Lana is left alone with Shayna, who feeds her to Jax once again. Nia drops her thrown the announce table, again. Jax tells Lana to quit the team.
Sarah Schreiber is with 24/7 Champion R Truth, who will now defend the title in a seven way match. Truth thinks its a magazine shoot.
Angel Garza claims he is fighting for every woman in the world. Okay, pal.
R Truth (champion) vs. Drew Gulak vs. Lince Dorado vs. Erick vs. Tucker vs. Akira Tozowa vs. Gran Metalik – 24/7 Championship Match
The bells rings and everyone attacks Truth. He slips out, but catches a spin kick from Tozawa, who pins him and gets the count. It doesn’t last long as Erick rolls him up for the pin. Then Drew Gulak gets a roll up pin. Tucker rolls him into the ring and gets the pin. Gulak picks up another win followed but Tucker regaining the win. Gran Metalik hits Tucker with a frogs plash and covers. Lince Dorado celebrates with him only to roll him up and get the win. Truth hits Lince with an AA and covers to get the win. Yea, that’s a lot of title changes.

Mustafa Ali w/RETRIBUTION vs. Ricochet
Ricochet takes the fight to Ali and wants to know what is going on with him. He slams Ali to the mat and drops an elbow. Ali drops Ricochet into the turnbuckle. Ali makes a pin after a snap suplex and Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet shrugs off chops to the chest and back body drops Ali. The two fight onto the apron; a head scissors sends Ali to the floor. RETRIBUTION scares Ricochet back into the ring and we go to commercial.
Ali with a kick to the back of the head. Ricochet hits a dragon suplex and both men are down. Ricochet unloads with strikes and a clothesline takes Ali down. Ricochet blocks a DDT and hits a vertical suplex and then hits a brain buster. The two go to the top turnbuckle; Ali hits a back stabber from the top, but can’t get the pin. Ricochet with a forearm to shut Ali up. He goes up top and takes out RETRIBUTION with a springboard twisting splash. Ricochet climbs the turnbuckle again, but comes up empty on 450 splash. Ali locks in the Koji clutch and Ricochet passes out.

Adam Pearce informs Randy Orton that next week he will defend his WWE championship against Drew McIntyre. Orton is not pleased and tells Pearce off.
Randy Orton, The Miz and John Morrison vs. The New Day and Drew McIntyre – Six Man Tag Team Match
McIntyre takes down Morrison with one shot and stares down Orton. Miz looks for a tag, but Orton wants none of it. Kofi rolls Miz up, but he kicks out. Woods and Kofi dispatch of Miz and Morrison taking them out on the floor. McIntyre wants Orton as we go to commercial break.
After the break, Woods rolls out of the corner and lays out Miz with a clothesline. Morrison tags in, stomping Woods through the ropes to the floor. Morrison prevents Woods from making the tag with a Samoa Drop, but Orton still won’t tag in. Orton drops off the apron. McIntyre gets the hot tag, tossing Morrison and Miz across the ring. He suplexes both of them at the same time and stares down Orton, again. He hits Morrison with a neck breaker and follows with the Future Shock DDT. Drew begs for Orton to tag in. He feigns and tag, but then walks away. McIntyre gets rolled up by Morrison, but Woods makes the save. Miz takes out Woods. Kofi takes out Miz. McIntyre head butts Morrison out of mid-air. He dials up a Claymore kick and connects. He covers Morrison to get the win.
