NXT GM Robert Stone announced earlier today that since Layla Diggs suffered an injury at a live event over the weekend, NXT Women’s North American Champion will face a new challenger.

The Vanity Project (c) versus Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy – NXT Tag Team Championship Match
I really like Legacy. He definitely has a future on the main roster.
As Legacy and Van Dux splash the Project on the floor and prepare to fly again, Jackson Drake jumps up on the apron. Van Dux clocks him one. While he bounces off the ropes Myka Lockwood pulls the ropes down on him.
“You don’t mess with my boy!” she yells.
Legacy gets dumped into the steel steps. Project wins with their double diving stomp, reverse DDT finisher.
Winners: …and still NXT Tag Team Champions, The Vanity Project.
Tavion Heights and NXT North American Champion Myles Borne are watching backstage. They think they can beat the Vanity Project and strip them of their gold. Heights claims it will be no sweat at all. Kam Hendrix shows up telling Borne it will be “showtime” for him soon.
OTM finds Saquon Shugars spying on Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy. Shugars claims he is just trying to find partners for his match against DarkState. Bronco Nima says if Shugars cannot find anyone it is his own fault. Lucien Price says Shugars made his own bed and now he has to lay in it.
Birthright enters the arena. OTM turns their attention to them. Lexis King points out the fact that Bronco Nima has been wrestling in AAA without Price. Perhaps Nima doesn’t really consider him family. King tells OTM they need to figure out their own problems.
Tristan Angels is in the middle of the ring. He mocks Shiloh Hill. He says his family tree consists of raccoons. Angels pulls out Hill’s fake tooth. Wow! Didn’t take them long to work that into an angle. He places the tooth on a steel step and crushes it under his foot.
Shiloh Hill appears on the big screen. He says losing the tooth has helped his mind. What will Tristan do now that “the fog is coming”. He lets out a maniacal laugh as the smoke machine gets a work out.
Lizzy Rain and Izzi Dame are in the GM’s office. In come Nattie and her entourage. Layla Diggs tries to speak in her defence but Nattie says she got hurt she doesn’t get to talk. Nattie argues that Diggs won the title opportunity for the group not just herself. Dame says she never got pinned in that contender’s match. Stone makes a fatal four-way match between Dame, Rain, Lyons and champion Zaria.
Tate Wilder versus Naraku
Wilder hits a wicked slingblade, backbreaker on Naraku for a two count. Naraku kicks out of a high crossbody. Naraku pushes him off the top rope. He hits the barricade on the way down to the arena floor. Naraku pins him with The Abyss.
Winner: Naraku
NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo storms the ring. He nails Naraku with some haymakers. Security arrives to break the two men up. Nakaku misses with his mist. He hits a security guard instead.
EK Prosper is backstage with Hank and Tank. Hank is going to teach Keanu Carver a lesson next week. Shugars shows up. He says Hank has that match in the bag. He believes in him. Hank, Tank and Prosper tell him what OTM did. They want nothing to do with his six-man tag against DarkState.
Zaria (c) versus Lizzy Rain versus Izzi Dame versus Nikkita Lyons – Women’s North American Championship Match
Zaria catches Lyons off the top rope. Dame drop kicks Zaria. Dame tries to pin Rain. She kicks out. Dame tries to pin Zaria. She kicks out. She tries to pin Lyons. Lyons kicks out. Dame pushes Lyons into Zaria who punches her in the face. Dame suplexes Lyons.
Dame drops Zaria off the apron then she turns around to drop kick Lyons. Rain breaks up the pinfall. Dame chokeslams Rain for a two as Zaria interrupts the attempted pin. Zaria and Dame exchange shots. Zaria takes out everyone. Zaria no-sells Dame’s Codebreaker. Dame kicks out of Zaria’s spear.
Nattie and Karmen Petrovic come out. Jaida Parker stops them from double-teaming Zaria. Zaria spears Petrovic. Zaria spears and hits an F5 on Lyons.
Winner: …and still NXT Women’s North American Champion, Zaria.
Shugars complains to Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair about not being able to find a partner. They say it is his fault for rolling with DarkState. Lola Vice appears. She tells Grey she is getting her NXT Women’s Championship back.
D’Angelo storms into Stone’s office. He wants Naraku. Stone books D’Angelo versus Naraku for the championship next week.
Jackson Drake versus Tavion Heights
Heights backdrops Drake onto the other members of the Vanity Project. Brad Baylor gets on the apron. Heights clocks him but that allows Drake to get the sneaky pin.
Winner: Jackson Drake
Another Reina Volcan promo. Shugars bumps into Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar. Dar says given his past he is hard to trust. Moreno wants to team up with Shugars. It is an opportunity! If they win they will be in line for a title shot.
Shugars: When is the last time the Super Nova backed down from a fight?
Dar agrees.
More of NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair backstage. Kali Armstrong stops by to say she will win tonight’s match and then beat Grey. Jaida Parker stops Armstrong to give her some advice. Nattie and her minions attack Parker from behind.
Shawn Spears is looking forward to dragging Niko Vance into deep waters next week.
Kelani Jordan versus Kali Armstrong versus Lola Vice – Number One Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s Championship
Vice puts Armstrong in an arm bar. Jordan splashes Vice off the top rope. Vice kicks out. Everyone starts throwing hands. A kick from Vice send Jordan down and out. Armstrong powerslams Vice and hits her with the Kali Connect pounce. That knocks Vice out of the ring though.
Jordan and Armstrong trade roll-ups. Jordan counters Armstrong’s powerslam. Armstrong didn’t kick out on time so the official has to delay their two count. The crowd boos. Jordan stares dumbfounded at the official. Vice backfists Armstrong. Jordan leaps off the top rope onto Armstrong. Vice kicks Jordan in the head and pins Armstrong.
Winner: Lola Vice
Stone and officials run into the parking lot as Tony D’Angelo and Naraku brawl. When they are separated, Stone declares their match next week will be a street fight.
