As NXT Heatwave draws near, there was a lot of explosive tension on tonight’s episode of NXT.
GM Ava heads off Hank and Tank. She warns them against becoming involved in DarkState’s match tonight. I have a funny feeling they won’t take Ava’s advice.
Lash Legend vs. Nia Jax
Two bulls collided…and boy did they ever. Lash though collapses under the weight of Jax trying to hoist her up and put her through a table. Back in the ring and in a corner, Lash is unable to manage Nia’s weight again. Nia crushes her once and crushes her again with the Anialator.

DarkState is interviewed backstage. They will dominate and destroy the competition tonight. They are losing their patience in NXT.
Chelsea Green arrives with the Secret Hervice to conduct their investigation into Tavion Heights’ mystery partner to take out Chelsea Green. They interrogate Kali Armstrong, Karmen Petrovic and finally Hank and Tank wearing wigs?!?!? Kendal Blue is going to face Alba Fyre tonight.
Joe Hendry vs. Charlie Dempsey
Dempsey is able to block one Standing Ovation…but not two.

Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan are going through some training before their big match tonight. Vice wants to be the next NXT Women’s Champion. Jaida interrupts. She thinks the ladies will come out on top tonight but she is going to be the next champion.
Josh Briggs addresses the NXT universe in the middle of the ring. He mocks Yoshiki Inamura code of honor. Inamura storms down to the ring. They call each other jackasses before they brawl causing security to break them up.
Kelly Kincaid interviews Jordynne Grace. She is cleared to compete again. She admits that Blake Monroe was right about her focusing on her body and not her mind in the past but now she is in a better place. She says strong people don’t feed on the weaknesses of others. She will silence Blake at Heatwave.
Coincidentally, Blake and Ava are in her office. Ava informs Blake she will be face-to-face with Grace next week. Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley tell Blake they predict victory against Vice and Jordan tonight. They freak out when they see Masha Slamovich entering the building.
Moose, Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Je’Von Evans meet before their big match. They agree they don’t have to be friends to be victorious.

Vice and Jordan win with Vice’s back fist and Jordan’s moonsault.

Fyre rakes Grey’s eyes pinning her with a Gory Bomb.

Ethan Page mocks Grey’s loss. Tavion Heights tells Page Grey wasn’t his choice. Tara Mae Stelle is. The Hervice cut Steele off. She suplexes the Hervice. Tavion does the same to Page.
Jacy is annoyed at the rest of her team. GM Ava informs her that she is defending the TNA Knockouts Championship at Heatwave against Ash by Elegance and Masha Slamovich. Also, next week, The Elegance Brand will battle Fatal Influence.
Chelsea and Ethan ponder working a peace deal between America, Tavion and Stelle, and Canada, them.
Moose, Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Je’Von Evans vs. DarkState
Oba mistakenly clobbers Evans then Moose spears Oba. Trick looks on as DarkState hits their four-man powerslam to pin Evans.
