Can we get a new NXT? Millions From Now is just awful. I can make better music with pots and cans in my kitchen.
A replay of the Tony D’Angelo and NARAKU title match from last week when Mike Santana….or Cruz Montana showed up.
The show gets hijacked by Grayson Waller. He details all of his accomplishments. He says he didn’t kiss ass and that is why his career has been in the toilet for quite awhile. He says he carried idiot Austin Theory. He calls him a “Marty Jannetty who is allergic to a microphone”.
“I was dressed for a funeral for my career but it is a new day,” says Waller. He says the state of the NXT Championship keeps him awake at night. It used to mean something.
“I am here to take the NXT title. Who is going to stop me? Cruz Montana? By the way, I love the new name. You walk in here like you are someone,” continues Waller.
He mocks Montana.
“It isn’t 2005, lad. Being the top guy in TNA is like being the best basketball player at the local YMCA. I am not impressed,” he said then called out Tony D’Angelo.
“I am going to send you home to be with that ugly new-born baby of yours,” laughs Waller.
A production guy asks Waller to wrap it up.
Waller says if Michaels doesn’t like it he can tune up the band.
HBK! HBK!
He calls the male roster sawft and that the women are running laps around them. He says HBK is smiling because he is telling the truth.
Grayson Waller. Grayson Waller.
“Hey, shut up. I don’t need your support right now. I am cooking. Let me cook,” he says to the crowd.
Finally, his microphone is shut off. He finishes his address speaking directly to the camera.
Fantastic and passionate stuff by Waller. You can tell he was razzing on people but he was speaking from the heart as he did on Australian Survivor.
Tavion Heights and NXT North American Champion Myles Borne chat about taking down the tag champs, The Vanity Project, next week. Mason Rook interrupts. He is pissed that Waller just did what he did. He believes the NXT boys are damn good and should show it. Rook isn’t sure that Borne or Heights can do the job tonight.
Izzi Dame versus Lizzy Rain
It is Izzi versus Lizzy. During an inset we see Waller pass by Montana as he leaves the building. Rain tries a baseball slide kick on Dame but Dame catches her slamming her face-first on the ring apron. Rain hits a missile drop kick from the top rope. Rain throws Dame halfway across the ring. Dame catches Dame coming off the ropes in a Blue Thunder Bomb.
Both women are down and a slugfest ensues. Dame spears Rain through the ropes and to the floor. Dame gets whipped into the ring stairs. Stunner. As Rain goes for her finisher Vance leaps onto the apron. Dame hits the big boot. Shawn Spears appears with a steel chair. Rain pins Dame with ThunderStruck. Spears leans against the barricade grinning.

Berto and Angel wish Bronco Nima luck in OTM’s match tonight. Price gives them the side eye.
Stone is on the phone again demanding Waller return to the arena. Women’s North American Champion Zaria barges in. She wants to know who her next challenger is. Speed Champion Wren Sinclair enters wondering the same thing. Stone, for some reason, says he has to organize a tournament to figure out Wren’s next challenger. Why? Wren challenges Zaria. Wren will defend against Zaria and if she wins she gets to challenge Zaria.
OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) versus BirthRight (Channing Lorenzo and Uriah Connors)

Montana is heading to the ring and makes his way through the crowd.
Montana! Montana!
A very passionate promo, probably one of his best, by Montana. It is amazing to see someone who has had to rebuild their career and their life with such positivity. His story is an inspiration.
He is proud to be a WWE superstar, words he thought he would never say. There were times where he didn’t think he would see next week. Every day was a struggle. He has made mistakes he cannot take back. He was fighting himself. He wanted to be the man her daughter calls dad. They said he had reached the ceiling of the tag team division. I loves and appreciates what TNA did for him. He will meet Waller at whatever YMCA he wants to.
“I stand here as a WWE superstar and that was not given to me,” he said.
The NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo arrives. He praises Montana for his success but he isn’t going to be giving up his spot that easily. He calls Waller “Kangaroo Jack”. Waller attacks them from behind. Waller ducks and Montana clotheslines Tony.
