Stand and Deliver is closing in as many NXT superstars wonder if they will even have a place on the show. Perhaps tonight some questions will be answered.
Shawn Spears vs. Dijak
The crowd is cheering like mad until they hear Dijak’s music. Then, it is like the air has been let out of the room. The crowd seems divided..if you can believe that. Spears leaps onto Dijak on the floor but Dijak counters with one of his own dives onto the floor. Spears comes up limping a bit. Dijak lays in some punches. Spears counters with some chops.
Booker: This is a fight! This is a fight!
Dijak splashes Spears off the second rope for a two count. Spears turns things around with a spinning neckbreaker off the ropes. A headbutt drops Spears to the mat. Spears drps Dijak with a German Suplex from the top rope.
The crowd chants: Holy s–t! which is bleeped. Please, NXT. Stop the censorship. So many other countries permit such language in prime time viewing hours on national television. Get with the times already.
As Spears smashes Dijaks’ head against the barricade Joe Gacey sticks his head out from under the ring. He steals Spears’ chair and takes it back under the ring with him.
Spears attempts to stomp on Dijak’s groin. Dijak stops him each time. With Dijak on the mat Spears lays in some forearm smashes to the face. Spears puts Dijak on the top rope, chops him but cannot Superplex him. They battle on the top rope. Punches from Dijak knock Spears to the mat. Dijak lands a flying clothesline off the top rope. Dijak holds Spears in a corner chopping and chopping him. Spears kicks out of Discus Boot.
The crowd starts chanting: Fight forever!
Spears looks under the ring for his chair but cannot find it. Dijak misses with a springboard elbow from the apron. Spears is caught off the top rope and chokeslammed by Dijak. Spears kicks out. Dijak pins Spears with Feast Your Eyes.
Joe Gacey appears on the announce desk swinging Spears’ steel chair. Spears is furious.
Winner: Dijak
Perez is in a screening room reviewing her NXT career on a big screen. She laughs at how she used to be. “She’s dead,” proclaims Perez about her old self. Perez says her dedication to NXT got her nowhere. “Don’t like it? Too bad!” she says about her new attitude. Perez states that after Stand and Deliver the NXT Women’s Championship will be back where it belongs.
Backstage, there are auditions going on to determine who will get to host Stand and Deliver.
Thea Hail vs. Jazmyn Nyx
Jacy Jayne comes down with Nyx. Hail lights up Nyx with a series of clotheslines, an elbow in a corner and a suplex. Jayne distracts Hail who is almost rolled up by Nyx. Nyx stomps and kicks Hail in a corner ending her momentum. As Nyx cranks down on Hail with an arm bar Jayne smiles and claps. Nyx almost KOs Hail with a soccer kick to the head. Jayne steals Andre Chases’ towel and throws it into the ring. The official is perplexed. He has no idea what happened or why. He decides to send all the members of Chase U to the back.
Jayne immediately jumps up on the apron.
Hail says to her: “We used to be friends.”
Jayne replies: “We were never friends.” She slaps Hail in the face.
Hail makes Nyx submit. Jayne attacks Hail from behind. Kiana James and Izzi Dame join in on the beatdown. Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan run down to the ring to make the save. The heels and faces have a tug of war over Jayne. The heels win and Jayne is pulled to safety.
Winner: Thea Hail

Lola Vice is getting ready for her open challenge.
Maxxine Dupri has Alpha Academy focused and ready for their main event match tonight.
Lola Vice versus Natalya
Vice says nobody can handle her. She is the compete package. Whomever comes out to accept her open challenge is going to be put to sleep.
Natalya’s music plays. Nattie says someone needs to put Vice in her place even though she sees potential in her.
Lola charges Nattie as soon as the bell rings. The two start brawling. Nattie takes it to Lola in the ring and on the floor. Lola heads to the hills. Nattie catches up to her bouncing her head off the apron. Lola scores some quick kicks to drop Nattie. Nattie clobbers Lola with haymaker after haymaker and a running drop kick for a two count. Lola blocks the Sharpshooter and turns that into an ankle lock. Nattie rolls into the ropes to break the hold. Lola gets a two with another backfist. Karmen Petrovic comes down to the ring to cheer on Nattie. Lola taunts her from inside the ring. Lola misses a back fist, gets clotheslined. Nattie cannot lock in the Sharpshooter. Nattie gets the pin though via a tricky roll-up.
Winner: Natalya
Spears is interviewed leaving the arena. He says that Gacey is on his radar now. “Sorry Sean, I meant to give this back to you,” yells Gacey from the roof of the Performance Center. He throws Spears’ steel chair off the roof to Spears below. Oba Femi steps on the chair staring up at Gacey.
Sol Ruca reviews her feud with Blair Davenport. She wants to repay her for putting a “pause” on her career.
Davenport is interviewed backstage. She is not impressed by what Ruca had to say. There will be no revenge for Ruca next week.
Ilja Dragunov vs. Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo
A drop kick has Dragunov seeing stars. Dragunov fights back with punches and forearms of his own. Stacks nails him with a big clothesline. Dragunov picks Stacks right up powerbombing him to the mat. Stacks stomps on Dragunov’s fingers. Dragunov screams as he snaps them back into the place. A tornado DDT gives Stacks a two count. Stacks works over the fingers as The Don watches the match from backstage with Luca Crusifino. Stacks keeps on attacking the hand and arm. Dragunov fights back with a clothesline hurting his own hand. A German Suplex and a powerbomb sets up Stacks for the Torpedo Moscow pinfall. Dragunov is shown holding his damaged hand in agony. Tony gives some instructions to Crusifino.
Winner: Ilja Dragunov
We get more of the Melo, Williams big match segment.
Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin are in the back. Baron thinks that the tanning bed Bron uses is seeping into his brain. The OC arrives. They want a traditional tag team match. Bron promises it won’t be a triple threat match. It will be just them against the OC at Stand and Deliver, if they have anything to say about it.
Ridge Holland is in the ring to address the NXT universe. He says he knew this day would come. He just didn’t think it would come so soon. He thanks Shawn Michaels and William Regal for boosting his career. He admits to being a step off recently. He doesn’t want to hurt himself or someone else going forward. The crowd cheers. He knows there is a negative perception around him. Holland has made a decision for his own mental health and his family.
“I am out here to announce that I am stepping away from in-ring competition indefinitely,” he says. Some of the crowd cheers.
He extends his thanks to NXT for allowing him one more shot at redemption. Ridge lays the microphone down in the middle of the ring as the crowd chants: Thank you, Ridge!
In recorded promo Lyra Valkyria trumpets her win over Becky Lynch. She wants to do right by the NXT Women’s Championship. She says Perez took the easy way out. “We both know the truth,” claims Valkyria explaining that Perez lost the title in that ladder match months and months ago. “You let this title break you,” she says.
Josh Briggs vs. Duke Hudson
Dijak is on guest commentary. Briggs keeps being distracted by Dijak’s presence throughout the match. Josh almost get a pin with a big slam and a leaping elbow drop. Josh stares at Dijak as he Superplexes Duke off the second rope. Dijak says that is Josh’s problem. He is always focused on Dijak and not himself. Duke comes close to pinning Josh with a Boss Man Slam. Duke powerbombs Briggs off the top rope. Briggs though wins with his JBL-like lariat. A pissed off Dijak climbs up on the apron. Oba Femi appears. He calls both men two very worthy challengers. Femi claims to be the mountain they cannot climb. He says he will face them both in a triple threat match at Stand and Deliver.
Winner: Josh Briggs

Meta-Four is in the production truck. They announce they are the official hosts of Stand and Deliver.
Arianna Grace picks out a new dress for Gigi.
Ilja Dragunov is backstage still nursing his injured hand. Luca Crusifino arrives with a special dinner invitation from The Don. Dragunov says he knows where the Don’s restaurant is. Crusifino explains the dinner isn’t at the restaurant at all.
Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)
If the Academy wins they get to be part of the NXT Tag Team Championship match at Stand and Deliver. Tozawa use his speed to stun Corbin. They both tag out. Otis shoves Bron and knocks Corbin down with one clothesline. Tozawa drop kicks Corbin out of the ring. Otis throws Tozawa onto Bron and Baron who are on the floor. Bron runs the ropes bowling Tozawa right over. Bron throws Tozawa off the ropes, catches him, tosses him to Corbin who powerslams Tozawa. Tozawa dives out of the way. Bron charges into a steel post. Tozawa tags in Otis who charges over everyone in his way. Otis picks up both men and slams them. Bron and Baron powerslam Otis through the announce table. Corbin powerslams Tozawa, scoops him back up for Bron’s spear.
The other tag teams in the tournament come out and a brawl breaks out. The tag team rumble in the ring ends the show.
