On this NWA POWERRR, we will see tons of title action at the Samhain signature event. Rich Swann came close last time, and he now has another chance as he faces Bryan Idol for the NWA Television title, who could potentially notch another win on his way to Lucky Seven. It’s a night of opportunities for both men in the National Wrestling Alliance.

NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship: Alex Taylor (c)vs. Slade (with Aron Stevens)

Taylor may be Too Hot to a trot, but Slade wants him to Fear the Gear. Taylor is a little frustrated, but after a minute, he goes for a test of strength and pokes his eye. Slade goes for an ankle lock, and Taylor quickly crawls out and gets under the ring. He makes it to the other side, dropkicks Slade, and then…

Ads (where TVMA wonders who will beat them. Here’s the Hex, and things get heated. Plus, Idol and Markova talk about keeping their eyes on the prize and how nothing can stop them)

We come back, and Taylor is in control, and locks in a reverse figure four leg submission, and uses the ropes for leverage. The ref catches him in the act, and he releases the hold. That allows Slade to get a rollup up fora count of two. A Scoop and a Slam and Taylor head up the top turnbuckle, but takes too much time. Slade launches both with a superplex that wipes them out. Slade gets up and nails him with European uppercuts. The straps come down, and Slade becomes a suplex machine.

He goes back to the ankle lock, and Taylor counters, sending Slade to the corner and then follows with a clothesline. Taylor unties his boot and tries to use it, but the ref catches him in the act and tosses it out. Taylor then kicks him in the nethers, and a rollup up for another two count. Taylor grabs the headgear and mocks Slade and goes for the Green Whistle, but it’s countered to the ankle lock, and Taylor has no choice but to tap out.

Idol cuts a promo about how excited he is to defend the title against Swann and he’s ready to go all night long.

Gallows and Anderson reflect on the NWA tag team division, and it needs an injection of Good Brother-ness: Too Sweet, indeed.

NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship: TV MA (Tiffany Nieves and Valentina Rossi, with Miss Starr and Gretta) vs. The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle)

Fans pop hard for Belle and Kay, chanting β€œWelcome Back!” This is huge as they were the inaugural tag champs of the Lightning One era.

Belle and Nieves start, and things quickly break down to a Pier Four brawl between the women. The Hex show Nieves why they are so good, and rock La Princesa to her core.

Nieves sends her to the ropes as Rossi distracts Belle. Now, Belle is Hexed and in Peril as Rossi and Nieves take it to the former tag champ, cutting the ring in half. She nails a sidewalk slam, and Nieves covers, but Belle kicks out. She pushes Rossi away, gets the hot tag to Kay, and goes En Fuego on TVMA. She gives Nieves a springboard choke slam and a uranage to Rossi to cover, but gets a two count. Kay argues her case with the ref, thinking she got the win, and Rossi goes for a schoolgirl roll up for a near fall. Now Kay and Belle nail Hex Marks the Spot, and Starr pulls Nieves out before Kay can capitalize on a pin.

She grabs Starr, and Nieves takes advantage with a rollup and gets the win.

Your Winners via Pinfall: Tiffany Nieves and Valentina Rossi

TV MA regain the tag titles, but don’t have a chance to celebrate long as Kay and Belle beat them down. Gretta makes her presence known and choke slams The Hex to establish her dominance, and I gotta say she has some potential.

The Immortals have a message for Blunt Force Trauma. They came here to make a statement and channeling their inner Randy Savage, Kratos says the cream rises to the top, and it ain’t no different in the NWA.

Colby Corino comes to the ring, neck brace and all. Kyle Davis asks when fans can see him again. Before he can give his prognosis, Kerry Morton comes out and asks fans to applaud Corino. Then he goes back to mocking his neck injury, and he says no one cares about him. Corino then kicks him in the…err, little Mortons, and takes off his neck brace. While Corino points out he’s not yet cleared to be in a wrestling ring, he is able to kick his ass, and for Morton, it’s sooner than he thinks.

(Author’s Note: Since this was taped back in October 2025, things might be looking up for The Prince of Old School. We’ll just have to wait and see.)

Aron Stevens talks up the champions in his stable, like Slade with his new Junior Heavyweight belt, Mike Mondo with his title, and the Slimeballz with the US tag team belts. He and Carson Drake promise they will get better.

Now for the Main Event for the…

NWA Television Championship: Bryan Idol (c) vs.Rich Swann

Idol makes his way to the ring for his sixth title defense on his way to Lucky Seven. Galli also notes they’ve had dealings in the past, and they shake hands in a show of sportsmanship. The bell rings, and Swann is slick in the squared circle, but Idol has some moves of his own. He gets whipped to the corner, and Swann mounts with punches. He charges after him and misses in the corner, and Idol comes back with a double underhook suplex and then a running knee strike in the corner. Swann tries to reverse a suplex, but Idol hangs on and gives him a shoulder breaker.

They battle outside, and Idol sends him face-first to the floor. He rolls him back in, and Swann kicks out at two. Idol locks him in the camel clutch and Swann fights through the pain. He gets out, and they run the ropes as both men collide in midair as we go to …

Ads (Markova cuts a promo on Shotzi Blackheart ahead of the title defense next week, who steps in the cam. We also have TVMA in Dr. Vik’s β€œabode”, which sounds creepier. Also Thom Latimer sends a message to β€œThrillbilly” Silas Mason that he has seven days to get his things in order before he loses the Ten Pounds of Gold back to him.)

We come back and Swann jabs away at Idol .and then demonstrates his educated feet.

A rolling frog splash gets a two count, then He hits the ropes and Idol counters to a tombstone Piledriver for a near fall. He fires up and comes down with a corkscrew moonsault that didn’t catch all of it, but Idol covers for another count of two. They battle up the top turnbuckle, and Idol tumbles down. A Frog splash by Swann, and he covers for one, two…kick out.

Swann attempts the Phoenix splash, and he misses the mark, as Idol capitalizes with the Killswitch for the one, two, and three.

Your Winner, and Still NWA Television Champion: Bryan Idol

Another successful title defense by Idol as he is a step closer to cashing in a title opportunity for the Ten Pounds of Gold, as the show comes to a close.
